Matt i really loved your thirty minute study. It shows me so much real time examples that i find my mind working along better this way than learning any other way i think. I need to get my skin tones and gradation down a bit more, but that takes time and experience. I'm very new to portraits, but i was blessed when i found your videos. Thank you.

I think you did an awesome job, especially since you did it in 30 minutes! I've been wanting to do human portraits. I paint animal portraits, as well as floral paintings, and etc., in acrylics. Today I've been watching tutorials on painting human portraits in acrylics. Then I came across yours a few minutes ago. I really enjoyed watching you do this painting. I plan on watching more of your videos. Now I'm even more inspired to paint human portraits. Thank you so much for this video. And by-the-way, I also pray before I paint. My desire when I paint is for the Lord to get the glory, and for others to be blessed by my paintings, and especially by the paintings people commission me to do.
