My heart breaks every time a star destroyer is destroyed. (Imperial) Star Destroyers are my absolute favourites.
-
Nothing will ever beat 3:25, Rouge One made is feel like the original trilogy, but with new feel.
-
7:27 will give the chills...forever A shadow appearing on a huge star destroyer itself, for the first time revealing a ship that makes them looking tiny. Love that scene, favourite scene in the whole franchise

The biggest sin of the new trilogy to me was that we never really got proper space battles. IX had that huge build up with all those ships, and we basically have to 'theatre of the mind' everything once they arrive. The space battle of Scarrif shows they CAN still do amazing space battles, and maybe for IX it was a time constraint, but it was still a massive let-down.

I like how you really did put every single star destroyer appearance in this video

Acclamator Venator Imperial I Imperial II Executor Tector Resurgent Mandator IV Mega Xyston

3:25 is just about the most beautiful scenes in star wars history

3:25 Imagine just going out for a spacewalk and out of nowhere you see a star destroyer appear out of pitch darkness
-
I've got a good feeling about this

So good! I love Star Destroyers so much!
-
6:43 is a classic shot with a glorious score
-
-
3:25 love that scene
-
9:56 There's a look to the physical models in the original trilogy that CGI isn't able to replicate.
-
8:34 hardest shot in the whole franchise
-
You forgot the acclamator when they look at the sky on the geonosis arena, literally the first one ever
-
My favorite one will always be the executor crashing into the Death Star, it shows how the Death Star is so massive that it’s able to generate its own gravity
-
7:15 is definitely one of the best scenes with the Executor
