    Allays take no damage when holding something because you tame them in the process. Other players can still hurt them, though.

    Now you don't even need to go creative mode to go back to your death place, instead use recovery Compass by going to ancient city and finding 8 Echo shards

    for an allay if you tame it with any item, the person who has tamed it cannot damage the allay, in the video they just gave him the totem as an item though even a dirt block would have worked. if the allay is untamed then you can damage it

    I can only see the recovery compass being useful if you have keepInventory on... but if keepInventory is on then there's no need to recover your items šŸ˜†
