In this video, I swapped out the chrome 340i badge on my car for a gloss black one. The black looks more sporty and I'm surprised BMW didn't offer these as an option on the F30 generation. In the video, I show how to safely remove the old badge (de-badge) and install the new one without losing the position.

A couple quick notes: 1 This would have been WAY easier if it were warm out. If you can, park in the sun on a hot day and the old badge will come off MUCH easier. 2 In the video I used dental floss which worked, but the back side of the badge kept cutting through the floss. Not a big deal and it will work in a pinch, but fishing line would have probably worked better.

  • Honestly you’re one of the reasons I’ve wanted to get a BMW! Been a fan of your channel for a long time and I’m finally closing in on a 340i to call my own ! I’ll be coming right here for all my DIY for my build ! Keep putting out content YOU want to and being great man ! Happy New Year
  • Bro 😎 I would watch a 10 minute video on how to lock the doors on this car. It’s not the content, it’s the delivery 👊

ATTENTION I am a sign installer/graphics installer shop owner and you must prep that surface prior to putting that new badge down. Prep it with 70% alcohol to remove the degreaser you just used on the area or you will have a premature failure on that new badge.

Justin, I bought my first BMW because of you. I watched "Don't buy a BMW until you watch this video", since then, I've been so grateful because you helped me make the right choice. There will always be people leaving you hate comments, but keep your head up and shake those vibes off. I would love to see more content on your garage and small DIY projects that we can do in short time period for those people that are as busy as I am. Great work bud!!
  • @VNEMUS
Definitely continue with content YOU want to make. Subscribers come and go for so many reasons. I forget how I found your channel years ago but I'm pretty certain the reason I became a Subscriber was mainly because you are so detail oriented and articulate in whatever you were doing at the time, but it's also this little things you say and do in your videos that show your likeability and relatability. Glimpses of your skating abilities are just added bonus content! ;) Wishing you continued success in 2022 and beyond, Justin!

Thank you for everything you do for the car community and the super entertaining and helpful videos. Hope all is well, Happy Holidays!

Justin, your humor, manor temperament and explanation of your projects is what won me over. I enjoy your channel. Yes, YOUR channel. That means you post what you want when you want! I’m probably your oldest subscriber, but you rock! To quote Arnold Schwarzenegger, “I’ll be back”!

THANK YOU!! Bought a new 330i for my son. It is black on black with black wheels. He wants the decals all black. I bought this same decal set from Amazon. TRULY appreciate you taking me through this process.

I own a 7 series but I always enjoyed your DIY even though I am unable to do most of them. You have a good program. Don't pay any mind to the haters. Hating is all they have. You have considerably more. Stay true.
  • Thank you so much for all your DIY videos. I had a lot of personal issues in the last few months and recently came across your channel. It has helped me find a new hobby that distracts myself from all the negativity that's been eating away at me, much like those negative feedback that was probably eating away at you. Once again, thank you so much! Best wishes for the year 2022!

Your right Justin, you put out content you want, don't let anyone tell you different. As long as your good with the content and your own car, that's what counts, not social media hatters. That's the way it is, people will be people, whether they like it or not. After all your doing the work not anyone else. Your giving us ideas, from your experiences, someone else may see it differently,, "so what" you keep doing what you do best, giving us content, and to others it's free. So all the best this new year 2022. Keep u'm coming.
  • @kolokta
You are the only car youtuber I watch, started watching you when I had my E90 and now I have an F31 so I love how your channel has helped with both of my cars. I would love to see some more fr-s content even though I don’t own that car it’s still nice to watch different content 🚗🚙
  • not gonna lie, best car channel in a while. love it how i can just put this to the background if in a hurry and just chill and listen. <3
  • @andycarron4549
I've enjoyed everything you have uploaded Justin. Just make what you want and be who you want to be. There is too much put on creators to always think outside the box to get the most views or likes. Don't be that person. Be the creator you are already...a great one.
  • @zalien6
Haven't seen your channel in a while, I'm glad you stepping up into this car man it looks really nice 👍
  • @NicholasMSmiff
BMW videos? I thought this was an FRS channel. Haha just playin! Love the channel justin, I find myself watching videos like this that have nothing to do with the car I own. I just like your production and your entertainment. Happy New Year!
  • @MMMeyer2008
Thank for the content in this video. I’m planning to do a few simple mods to my new X3 M40i when she arrives, and this is exactly the kind of how to video I was hoping to find. Then, once my confidence builds I’ll come back for more inspiration. Kudos!
