  • Hi, my beautiful friend. I’m putting this comment here to remind you in a year of what you said. “ should take all the little bits & put them in a ziploc bag and note what type of yarn they are. But, I’ll get it all organized and go through each tote individually and do that.” 😂😅😢🎉 I’ve done that TWICE in the past 20 years and I never thought of organizing once my 2k totes were filled and stacked away. 😊 I will say you are an amazing, crafty, energetic girl & I pray you do come back to them! I also think the hanks should go in their own bin, like you said, because even if you’re just wanting to watch tv, you could be also winding up some balls. (Theoretically:) it was fun watching you do this! I love all your videos. Do you think you’ll ever do a video on that round loom? I have all the Martha Stewart looms and was hoping to use the ‘random’ skeins to make hats. ❤

I find that using barrettes to clip down the ends of my yarn balls helps a lot with that sort of tangle. Really cozy video😊

Hi! I recently reorganized my stash too and I learned the best hack ever for managing the ends of yarn that get all tangled. Use hair clips or Bobby pins to clip the end of the yarn to the rest of the ball. Then it stays perfectly wound up even when you have to move them around hunting for something!

the random moss yarn will make grass or bushes for your dollhouse! Great job organizing, that was a big job! to use up your 1 skeins and random skeins, you can hold 3 together and make some scrap baskets, to hold your wips!

This was so satisfying to watch! If you get the chance, I’d LOVE to see a video of you making that adorable camper!

The moss yarn with the carpet yarn to make a little rug would be adorable.

Last August my family left me home alone for several days (husband took the kids camping) and I decided to organize my yarn. I emptied it all on the table, caked and weighed any open skeins, and cataloged it all on ravelry and a handwritten list that I placed in with the yarn itself. That took me basically all week after work, and in the end I filled one of those same black totes with the blue lid. What you accomplished was a huge undertaking. It really does help to know exactly what you have on hand when planning. You've made me realize I have not done a good job at maintenance and I should probably spend some time updating by lists and repacking my bin! I live fairly local to you and am equally impressed you got it done with how heavy and humid it's been

I would love to see this "everything I crocheted" video!
  • @CozyMamaPlayz
I was really rooting for you to untangle that huge knotted ball of y'all. 🥲
  • Could you do a stash busting video? Also:completely here for you doing an "everything I crocheted" video

I love the shirt and your camper. You’re such a a vibe. I love it so much.
  • I live on my Excel list of yarn. Haven't found an app I liked that was also able to be used offline. Saved my file to Drive and can easily access anywhere. I even have links to yarn website so I can quickly have all details that weren't enough to have on the spreadsheet. This way I can also flag what yarn is being held for a project so it doesn't accidentally get used. Love how your sort worked out!

I want to see the crochet camper! It would be perfect for your new camper 😍

Organizing yarn: 👍with a little system! Wow! Bought boxes, there's a plan... ❤ It all starts with.... " the most randomst one like I don't know what to do with"! 😂 I'm crying. 3:39 I lovelovelove❤ your video's, going to watch the rest of it now! Update: wow! You nailed it!
  • @eliseelise9711
I use rubberbands to keep my yarn from unraveling/getting tangled. It will be easier to dig in your bins without causing it to tangle again if the ends are not loose. You did a great job. So much pretty yarn ❤
  • @ChelleShellCrochet
Fun video. 😊 I have a love hate relationship with organizing my yarn. It’s so much work but it’s also so worth it. Multi strand projects like baskets & scrapghans are excellent ways to use up yarn (that you don’t have a project in mind for) more quickly than single stranded projects. 👋🏼👋🏼 from Mississauga 🧶💜

Hello! I just started watching some of your videos the other day. Love your vibe! Hope you have a nice day! ❤

I love this! I really need to organize my yarn. I’m trying to figure out the best way to store all my crochet thread.
