  • Michelle, lovely collection. My Mother recalls going to the movies back in the 1930's and 40's. At intermission, between the double feature, the theatre manager would draw lucky numbers from the torn ticket stubs of the attendees. The winners were called on stage to claim various carnival glass pieces , and the grand prize winner of the evening would receive an entire set of dishware to take home! Such a wonderful memory for a young girl. TFS.
  • So glad I found you , your delivery is so calm and informative. You’re collection is just beautiful! Thank you for sharing!
  • Thank you - thank you for talking about carnival glass! It's so charming. I have a water pitcher, and a fruit bowl that's been in my family for over 100 years. I remember the original owner - my mother's Aunt Dena (1886-1965). This video brings back memories. Bless you!
  • Your slipper from Fenton is a cat slipper. If you look at it from the front, there is a cat's head at the top front of the slipper My father designed glassware for most of the companies, he has a Daisy Button patterned punchbowl set in the Smithsonian.

Good morning Michelle, I enjoyed seeing your collection and gorgeous pieces, and your end one you made great job, you could definitely re-sell them. TFS. Enjoy your weekend. Blessings to you and your day. Thanks again:)!
  • Love this video, my favorites are the slipper, the clear pieces with the iredescent tones, and the tooth pick holder, the purple vase. Have a blessed week.
  • I want to say that something wonderful I have learned from you is to buy a piece even if it is supposed to be part of a set - and then you might find the rest of the set later. I did that with some small blue bowls and at one store I found two, then a week later at another store I found another two! I wanted four - got it. thanks
  • I love carnival glass I have some of the grape pattern a pitcher and three glasses that where my grandmothers. I love them. Thanks so much for sharing. Hugs Nola
  • It's like a stroll down memory lane!  Or at least my mother's (and sometimes my own) cabinets.   I love carnival glass too.  I had been thinking of doing a video of some of my pieces but I don't know anything about them.   I'm always impressed about how much that you know.  Thanks for sharing.
  • MICHELLE, YOU HAVE SUCH A BEAUTIFUL COLLECTION OF CARNIVAL GLASSWARE..... THIS IS MY FAVORITE GLASSWARE, IT REMINDS ME OF MY MAMA'....... THANK YOU FOR SHARING..... CHRISTINA
  • My Grandma had a house full of carnival glass. i was fascinated by it as a child and dismayed when my father got rid of it all when Grandma went to a nursing home. He thought it was hideous. i remember she had a lot of green, blue and purple. i love the blue Fenton piece of yours.
  • Hi Michelle, after watching your Vlogs, I had started thrifting again and yesterday I found the three Corning bowls that nest in varying shades of BLUE just like the ones you found in shades of brown. I am still excited and could not wait to tell you and say thanks! 💐
