There is nothing better than watching a black and white western on a Sunday night before going to bed sipping on some tea
-
@18:27 - The single most iconic film introduction and debut of an actor in cinematic history. PERIOD.

I played the music from 'Stagecoah' and 'Fort Apache' on my car`s CD system when my family and I drove through Monument Valley and Mt.Zion National Park when we drove cross country from NJ to 'do' the Southwest in dept.

Have seen this several times, but am only just now noticing Yakima Canutt in the very beginning. Great stunt man and he was with John Wayne in many of his movies in the 1930s.

1939 was the greatest year in the history of cinema. Stagecoach, Gone with the Wind and Wizard of Oz all came out that year and would have a defining influence on filmmakers for generations to come. I’d argue this movie is the most important of the 3 due to Ford and Wayne’s influence.
