Published 2023-11-11
In this video I'll go over how you can fix a dent on your cars bumper cover. I show you how to use heat with a heat gun, blow dryer or hot water to get the dent out and how to get rid of high and low spots. I also go over how you can get rid of high spots using cold water or ice.

  • To prevent overheating and paint damage, I heat it from the inside. Thanks for sharing!
  • Tony, your channel is one of the best automotive tutorial channels on YouTube.

Nice! I just did one of those this past weekend! I pushed with my hand in a leather glove for less pointy pressure. If you're gonna paint it, clean it with acetone before you close all those tiny cracks with the repair.

Great video Eman. I did same thing on my Moms rear Highlander bumper years ago too. I used a heat gun, easy peasy!

Thanks so much!! Noticed this morning a nice sized dent in the back corer of my Nissan, guessing some twit at Target yesterday banged into me. Looked ugly, took 30-35 min just propping the heat gun in place to get a decent heated spot. The top of the dent formed back into place along with the rest! Thanks again, have a great day!

"Hey hey hey, how's it going do-it-yourselfers" Dude you owe us the dog tax. You barely paid it last time. And an avocado update would be great. Just kidding about the avocados.

How much would a shop charge to fix this and paint. My wife hit my neighbors car and the dent looks identical, cracked paint and everything on a Toyota Corolla.

My car door has an dent that pops outward. How do I go about fixing that type of dent?
  • @MA-bx2ev
I used a 3"x5" piece of rubber from an old tire so not to have any sharp and pointy impressions created by the pry bar.
