Shasta High School presents: The Sound of Music. A springtime theater production for 2016. Based in Redding, California, Shasta High has been producing musicals for over 45 years. The Sound of Music ran for two weekends and this is the Friday before closing night.

This is hands down my favorite high school version of the sound of music. I was cast as Maria at my school and I use this version of the show as my inspiration :). You guys are phenomenal!

Having screened the original Sound of Music more times than I care to remember I think I am qualified to comment on this production. It was absolutely amazing and hard to believe that it was produced by a High School. Congratulations to everyone involved.

I stumbled across this because I couldn't sleep. I was in this play in high school as well What a fantastic production! It blew me away. I stayed up watching it until the sun came up. I even got a lump in my throat a couple of times. What fond memories! THANK YOU!

This version means so to me because I watched this when I found out my Theater was doing Sound of Music with broadway actors! I said if I get in, I would want to play Birgitta, They held auditions and I got the role. It was a life changing experience and I will never forget it! I love this so much!
