This is a cool habitat, but not for axolotls. Unless your area is consistently cold all year round so that the water is under 68 degrees F, they're not going to survive. They're very messy creatures and living without a filter will quickly make the water parameters dangerous for them. In the container where you were 'picking axolotls', I noticed gravel substrate in there. Axolotls cannot have gravel because they can eat it and choke/become impacted, which can lead to death or prolapse. The size differences in the axolotls may also lead to fighting and injuries. The axolotls appear to be in decent health (a few have gills that are diminished in appearance), but the tail fin on one of the leucistics looks floppy, indicating stress, illness, or poor water conditions. It could just be the way they're sitting, though. Snails also cannot be kept with axolotls as a general rule, as they can eat off an axolotl's protective slime coat, cause an axolotl to choke if they try to eat it, or close their trapdoor on an axolotl's limb or head. There could be filter or chiller mechanisms I'm just not seeing, but I'm not sure. If the axolotls do not have a filter or chiller and do not have very frequent partial water changes, it would be best for you to move them into indoor tanks with those things or give them to someone who can give proper care.

Amazingly decorated garden pond Apple snails are also wonderful. I had them once in an aquarium. Was always interesting when they were moving at the glass. The axolotles are also very interesting looking animals - like a fish with legs.
