"Pruning" a 55' Norway Maple down to 20' - photo slideshow. Will probably cut it down the rest of the way in the fall.

    great job! Thanks for the demonstration showing that it's possible to cut down a big tree using rope chainsaw. I am going to be cutting down 70 foot pine tree using similar technique. There is no option to cutting it down in one go with regular chainsaw because it's too close to the house so it must be cut down in little chunks starting from the top - like in your video.
