Hey guys. Just wanna say a massive well done and congrats for the investigative journalism that kicked off the big Intel investigation into 13th/14th Gen SKUs and their instability issues. This stuff is shaping up to be the biggest mishap they’ve dealt with in the past decade, and it’s all in the interest of consumers rights and stability. Massive respect 👍🏽
  • The Windows NT Kernel was 11 people. You can get a lot done with a tight team and supportive management.
  • The tabs on the cassettes weren't a copy protection system wasn't to prevent people from copying that material onto another tape. It was only to protect the contents on that tape from being overwritten. All it was meant to do was prevent your dumb ass from writing over that Metalica tape with the stuff from the radio because you were too lazy to make sure there wasn't a blank tape in the deck. And a piece of Scotch Tape (tm) was enough to tell the system, "Yeah, I don't care about the contents on this tape. Go ahead and overwrite it." That's all what those tabs were for and that's all they ever did. Had nothing to do with copyright law.
  • i haven't watched this video, I came here to congratulate you on the quality of the thumbnail
  • “If you believe that the world is fundamentally good and fair, someone is taking advantage of you.” I need this embroidered onto a throw pillow
  • @ethanwetzel7
I love the thumbnail so much. You guys are the best 😂

The best thing about valve is that they are a private company. No stupid investors deciding what they should do.

33:14 "they don't strike me as a loving marriage..." - having sex with a porn star just after your wife had your child can just have a teensy impact on how loving a marriage is....just a bit....
  • just think about how much large governments use in electricity. Civilians are not the problem with fuel and electricity consumption. Yet the media will have you believe you are the problem.

17:02 Ryan may have been thinking about the Canadian contract that was enforced because the buyer had a history of using emojis to reply to agreements and authorize large purchases, I think it was a farm related thing. The buyer tried to wiggle out of the contract by saying he never actually agreed, but the court enforced the buyer to pay up because it was proven the buyer had a history of buying things for his farm/business with emojis .. as well as it was strongly suspected that he was doing it purpose with the explicate motivation of shirking contract law should he ever want to get out of a bad purchase .. It was an international story because, "Hey Look! New precedent! Emojis are valid legal signatures!"

“Lithium Phosphate” (aka: lithium iron phosphate, which is much safer and longer lasting than “lithium ion” (aka Lithium Cobalt Oxide). There is also “LiPo” (aka. Lithium Polymer) but that is very light so mostly used for flying drones etc. I use only lithium phosphate in my DIY system. Here in U.K. you have to stick to low voltage and not connect it to the mains power system to not call in an electrician or have your work verified by the local government. “Lithium Ion” is more profitable so used by Apple/Samsung/most-domestic-vehicle. Buy an electric commercial vehicle, for example a bus, and you are likely to get decent batteries. Who wouldn’t sacrifice a phone being a bit thinner and heavier for a battery that lasts 3 or 4 times longer, but less profit and built in obsolescence. Lithium Phosphate is also (currently) much more efficient than sodium batteries and uses well established technology. Sodium looks cool but is more a future thing and may stop Bolivia/Chile etc. being subject to a colour revolution

Crowdstrike strikes the crowd. "Aviation mechanic fatally sucked into Boeing jet engine during maintenance" The fuck what?
  • So, what you're saying is, Grindr crashed during the RNC convention because a bunch of gay people decided we need to "Make RNC Gay Again!" I'm for it. Where do I sign up for my MRGA hat?
  • @Liriq
The thumbnail has me shaking laughing in the street!! 😂😂 Free entertainment for the people!
  • QUESTION: You guys are all "People aren't subscribing to Netflix as a protest due to password sharing crackdown." But could it be that the market's already saturated for them, and the bump they saw earlier were from people who were caught in the password sharing crackdown and still wanted Netflix?
  • @dirg3music
in response to the Grindr/RNC thing, there's a whole term for that: "Log Cabin Gay" lmao. It's a whole subculture.

AWS seller reviews are linked to a product purchased. At least for me an independent review of just the seller does not appear to exist. I've tried. The button sends me to a page where i have to select a product I've purchased or leave. The review is subsequently posted under the product 😢
