Kid: playing with plastic soldiers Kid's mother: Aww... Cute What the kid is imagining:
  • "when ever they launch artilleries against us, our FPS drops significantly and it's one of the reason we lost" - German Soldier
  • Fun Fact after hitlers death they attepted a breakout but failed but the one tank that lead the charge was the last king tiger tank operational
  • Those flak towers were key in the defense of Berlin three of them built in positions to create a triangulation of anti-aircraft fire over the city center. The large guns at the top you see used are twin mount (128mm) 12.8cm FlaK 40 (Flakzwilling) high velocity guns that weighed about 27 tonnes and considered one of the most effective and feared heavy AA guns of that era. The Berlin Zoo flak tower used these guns to support ground troops and could obliterate any Soviet armoured vehicle and did just that during this battle, where dozens of Soviet tanks met their demise just from these 3 FlaK towers. Aside from its main armament the towers also had smaller caliber 2cm FlaK 30 guns that could hit targets almost 10 miles away with a 360 degree field of fire. You couldn't destroy these things either, with walls of almost 1 ft of solid concrete that even the 203 mm M1931 howitzers one of the largest and most powerful guns the Soviets had, couldn't do much damage to these things. The battle of Berlin overall cost the Soviets at least 80k Casualties. 30k of those in just the battle of Seelow Heights (the Gates of Berlin) alone.
  • 25:06 I’m glad you included the two Mark V tanks taken from Kharkov (I believe) and used as bunkers in the Battle of Berlin!
  • I love how you can see the bigass Reichstag building while they are fighting when he puts it to ground view it looks even greater
  • I’m not gonna lie this is what I imagined when playing with my action figures as a kid
  • @ME262MKI
12:12 The position of that twin 12.8cm is amazing, sniping tanks on the bridge from 1km away
  • An F for the computer, that probably melted down during the making of this
  • Fun fact: fighting inside the Reichstag actually lasted several days
  • So well put together! Your editing is excellent. Like watching a short action packed WW2 movie. Time stamp 2:21 I remember seeing actual War footage of that. Well done!
