Gonzo is canonically a whatever..... The homie canonically does not have a gender.

Basically, the context of the episode is that there's a ball, where the boys have to dress up like knights and princes, and the girls have to dress up as princesses. Gonzo wanted to wear a dress, but everyone told him he couldn't. So he went to the ball in a dress anyway, hiding it from his friends. The message at the end of the episode was basically "I don't want to do something because everyone says I should. I want to do it because it makes me happy" Like, Hell yes Gonzerella!

The truly ironic f-ing thing about their "logic"... is that Gonzo (the muppet) has always worn dresses. All the way from the 70s Gonzo has worn more "girly" stuff than the dress shown recently. And what makes their argument more ignorant, is that the episode mentions nothing of Gonzo being Trans to begin with.

Let's take a moment to remember that in the original Sesame Street, Bert and Ernie were ALWAYS meant to be gay. They could just never say it was true for a long time. When they finally brought it to light, there was an uproar about it. However, they were ALWAYS gay representation. And I will always have respect for the original creator for doing that, even during times where being who you want to be with was not okay. I'm sure at this point, the bigoted conservatives are just finding things to complain about, with no good reason. I'm sure they only wanna cause drama at this point... Otherwise, imagine going through life despising people slightly different than you for absolutely no reason? Imagine having THAT much anger over nothing?? Gay and trans people only want to LIVE and SURVIVE in a messed up world, just like cishet people. We do NOTHING but wanna be US, why be so angry?

These people are saying wearing a dress is “against religion” and “evil” when in biblical times literally everyone in that culture wore dresses.

You need to redo the “Trans spa” video. It turns out the women were telling the truth. The “trans person” wasn’t trans but a grown man who happens to be a sex register offender who’s been doing this since 2003 and have several cases on his hands. He’s been exposing himself to women AND children. Please redo the video and give these women an apology.

As an early head start teacher - I haven't met a single kid that hasn't occasionally wanted to put on the pretty fluffy dresses or skirts - it is part of exploring and figuring out who they are.
