  • Beautiful explanation of the origin of "Borsch" and love ❤️ your simple ingredients I live in Australia 🇦🇺 and made my first pot of "Bosch" about a month ago and it was a wonderful dish to make 😋, I generally don't have much time to cook, but this dish was amazing and it didn't last long at all Thank you Iryna 😊 💓 Blessings from Australia 🇦🇺 🙏

My wife's family is from a small town in Romania near the Ukrainian border. She grew up eating borscht and introduced it to me. It is now one of my favorite dishes. We just had a big pot at Christmas along with pelmeni and holubtsi and medovik. Slava Ukraini!

Hey there! Thank you for the interesting history lesson!! 😊 I’ve only started making borscht last year myself and already have found a couple of my own unique ways of doing things to make it just a little bit different... You have an interesting channel with some nice facts about Ukraine. I hope you will be able to continue making more videos like this in the future, as you have such a rich history that not much of the world really knows about (but should)!! Oh! One last thing... Another video I had watched about making borscht by an older Ukrainian lady, gave a really good tip for when handling and pairing plus cutting/shredding beetroot so that you don’t stain your hands. Simply take a little bit of olive oil (or any cooking oil really) and rub it on your hands like you would with hand cream first!! Doing so will prevent staining 100%!! I just wanted to share since I saw your hands turning all pink in the video, and I know it can last for a few days if there’s a lot of juice in the beetroot!! Take care! Be safe! Slava Ukraini 💙💛❕

Is there really a "t" at the end? I thought it was Borsch.
