A supremely funny and charming man. I would loved to have met him. His family can be very proud indeed of all the joy and laughter he brought to many. Mr Dawson I hope you are happy in heaven looking down on your family.

Believe it or not, but it was 30 years this June when Les passed away (In 1993.). But it only seems like yesterday...!!?? I'm shocked it was such a long time ago. He was a comic genius who could really play the piano. But to play it as badly as he did, showed us all what a great talent he was. RIP you fantastically funny man.

God bless Les, so missed xxx He wouldn't be allowed on TV now, as so many would be complaining, unfortunately. Most will not get his humour now. Long gone.

The adoration that Michael had for great comics just made Les shine even more brightly in this interview which I recall seeing as a child; it was a delight then and it is a delight now.

70’s - 90’s we had this type of tv entertainment. These days it’s TOWIE and Kartrashians.
