The Court of Owls were going to recruit Dick Grayson to become a Talon but Bruce got to him first on the night his parents were killed. That’s another interesting add on to Nightwing’s resume.
  • That's why his death in Injustice was always a head scratcher for me.
  • @comicfan1324
You have to remember that Wonder Woman once divided Nightwing to join the justice league. Not because he was there equal, but because she believed he had a potential to surpass them.
  • Punching your way out of a sub underwater isn't like super human it is super human...

The fact you even said, "He even beaten Red Hood," says it all, even if it was obvious
  • I'll tell you one thing. Both Nightwing and Red Hood had school'd Damian. Lol
  • @pollomaniac
I've always seen it like this .... Dick Grayson = Leonardo Jason tood = Raphael Tim drake = Donatello Damian Wayne = Michaelangelo

Ok so looking at the composite versions of their characters not taking into account future stuff, the fight is very close. Jason is stated to have the highest potential and best natural instincts of the entire batfamily, as well as the most varied training. Dick on the other hand has more experience and is outright stated to be a better fighter than Batman being the only Robin to beat him in a fair no holding back match. Jason is physically stronger, the most resilient, and has the strongest will, but Dick closely follows in all of these, barely edges out in speed, and far surpasses him in agility. Dick is also smarter, however Jason has actually shown a better tactical approach to fighting with better planning and more frequent showings of adaptability. Ignoring future versions of these characters and outlier universes like Injustice Dick still comes out on top maybe 6 times out of 10, but the fight is anything but clear cut.

They're both the better versions of what batman is meant to be just one is the closet to being his successor

I'm not that big of a red hood fan, but I don't think this is a "Isn't even close" fight, since red hood confirmed that he's always holding back when fighting batman, Red hood might also seem always angry, but almost in every comic he is in, he's always the most calm, it's just his tone of voice, Not to mention he was also the only one to take out a large talon alone, while Tim and damian needed to help each other, He is also always holding back against everyone in the bat family, when he fought Cassandra, Tim, and nightwing and winning the fight, yes he got pinned but it was cuz he's holding back, he could've killed dick with the train but he decided to save him instead, and he knocked out Cassandra several times with only landing a few hits on him, and Tim DIDN'T even stand a chance, Jason/ Red hood, also already dog walked damian while he was drunk and damian was in rage, also that "dick knocked out Cassy with one punch' was just one comic, cuz in a different one dick didn't even stand a chance, while Jason has beaten her multiple times, he easily beats Shiva trained Man-bats SHIVE TRAINED, the woman who batman considers as the best fighter in the whole world, he is also MUCH faster and has the same level iq as Tim, he humiliated Tim a bunch of times, and he also was able to break in to Tim's hq, which Tim stated to be impossible to break into, he also humiliated Tim in fight while he was BLIND, he also fought a large group of talons and KO'd almost all of them, not to mention they had guns, was able to take out Cassandra while following him stealthily (I just started reading red hood comics last week so I wanted to brag abt his feats LMAO, and also this is just the tip of the Jason Todd FEATS)

To summarize: Nightwing will win because of “superior agility” and being able to get under Red Hood’s skin. Save your time & thank me later 👍🙂👍

Hey man, I’m a big fan. Great work. Can you do a The Stalker ( Batman Beyond) vs Kraven The Hunter.
  • @tpoplays
The cool thing about these two facing each other, you could reasonably argue for either of them winning
  • @charlesk2793
Yes, Jason has been trained by Batman, as well as the people who trained Batman, as well as other masters and assassin's who are the best in their fields. Most notably, he has also been trained by Bronze Tiger as well as Lady Shiva, noted as being two of the greatest Martial Artists on earth and BOTH of them have stated that Red Hood was their greatest student. No one else boasts that claim. As far as Cassandra Cain is concerned, when Red Hood was able to get the better of her, this is significant because Cassie has always been known as the deadlier fighter between herself and Batman with Batman himself saying he couldn't take her in a fair fight. Oh, and lets not forget that Jason has been heavily trained by the All Caste. These things matter. And Jason does hold back a lot, especially when it comes to fighting his family. But the greatest moment, to me anyway, was during the Event Leviathan saga when Batman and the "Detectives" approached him in Ep. 3 of the series. This is a line-up that includes Green Arrow, Plastic Man, Manhunter, The Question, Batman, Damien Wayne's Robin and Lois Lane. The battle that happened there was epic. This meeting turned into a battle. A battle in which Jason wiped the floor with them. WIPED THE FLOOR with them. He even had time to talk to Lois after the fight she witnessed. Jason kicks their a$$es then casually walks away from Lois after she asks him a couple of questions. Just casually walks away like it was another Tuesday. He was disappointed that others may have believed he was Leviathan. The look on his face, the skill he displayed in that fight, conveyed that he was done playing around. He was calm and collected which made that fight even better. He wasn't holding back this time and it showed. After getting their a$$es handed to them, Damien states out loud to everyone present that "Jason Todd is one of the great master fighters of all time,” and Batman doesn't argue. This should've been included in this video, but it wasn't.

I forget which comic it was, but I remember one where we got a little bit of Bruce’s inner monologue, and he talks about both of them. Dick, he says, is pretty much on his own level. But with Jason, he regretted even training him and letting him become Robin at all. He realized that Jason was just never on the same level as Dick in his training. Jason may have gotten more training and experience later but it’s not as if Dick spent that same time just sitting around watching TV
