Btw the 3 leg and arm woman is Virginia She is quite nervy, so approach with caution and unequip any weapons. You must meet her a few times before she is comfortable enough to be your companion. Eventually, as long as you don’t attack her, keep repeating the process of being cautious and walking up to her until she finally starts following you. Unlike Kelvin, she will not take commands, but you can drop her weapons to use, making her great help in combat. As Virginia has three arms, she can actually use two weapons at once, making her extremely strong in battle and in defense of your base.

omg I loved their The Forest playthrough that I watched all 3 POVs. Toonz calling those cannibal mutant enemies "crackheads" always made me laugh. Glad they're playing this sequel

Kelvin is hands down NPC of the YEAR

I was waiting for them to realize they can tell kalvin to get food lol but don’t let kalvin die or he’s dead forever and you won’t be able to get him back unless you reload save. Also, no weapon wheel, HOLD Tab to quick use your backpack so you can have everything on it. I’m not talking about the big map inventory, the backpack is pretty much the weapon wheel for this game

You can tell kelvin to pick up the arrows during or after a fight..its really useful as you can continue to fight without bothering to look for them

hey man glad to see you and the boys enjoying the game just through I pass along some tips namely you guys might want to expand the base a bit and put up some defensive walls to keep the crack heads and monkeys out. also the game has a winter season where food will become scarce and the crack heads will become a lot more aggressive so that's a thing to keep in mind. also the arm icon if you guys didn't figure it out already that meter fills up when you do stuff like cut down trees or haul logs, manual labor type stuff. the more full the meter, the more damage weapons like axes , clubs and so on do, so its a good idea to do some stuff and not just have the mute guy do all the heavy lifting. a bit of advice for if you guys want to move base, ideally try and do it by a river since if you do just make a dam/bridge by where your gonna make the base. go up stream and cut the trees down and have them fall in the river, let the river wash it down steam to the dam and you have a lot of wood for building walls platforms and what have you. just some advice without spoiling anything for you guys. tho you might really want to get a jump on the defenses since the crackheads know where it is now and they are probably gonna just keep throwing bodies at you guys.
