  • People with social anxiety like myself. It's hard to get a job and being around people cause we think where getting judged all the time. And Wene we do end up talking to someone our brain freezes up and we cant speak!!!! Some people with social anxiety can't even stand in line at a grocery store. So this DID NOT HELP
  • The social job thing only worked for me for a little while, for the first few months after starting my job I was free of a lot of social anxiety (not anxiety in general just the social anxiety)  And I found it easier to talk to people. But for some reason it came back and i'm still working at my job, my boss has even got on to me for it because my social anxiety is very noticeable, and it just keeps getting worse and worse now.

    I hate social anxiety :( I'm so uncomfortable when I'm socializing with people I don't know !!  I always think of what I said !! what if I hurt them ?? what do they think of me ?? what if they don't want me to be there with them ?!  It sucks :'( I hate going out alone :( maybe I hate people seeing me alone , not really being alone itself ! :(  lets not talk about having to do presentations UGH !! its a nightmare !:"( I like my personality with the people close to me that I know them a while ago , but when I'm with someone else :( I'm not impressed with myself :(  everything is awkward :'( !!!!!!!!! I do love me ! but not most of the time :( I have a roommate , doesn't share my room , the kitchen and bathroom only , she has dirty dishes sitting in the kitchen for weeks !!! maybe months !!!! but I just can't say anything .. I used to be a very very social kid it was amazing , it felt good ! that confidence I had !!  I wish I can have it back !! why am I not fun to hangout with ! why am I not happy with myself !! why do I sit alone !!  I went out with some girls tonight , I wanted to impress them ! thats what I was focusing on ! :( I did enjoy my time , but was nervous , I talked too much in here .. its like a balloon that had enough air , no more capacity :(  I just blew up in here ... I don't care anymore , I can say it now , I have social anxiety and I need help. if someone had it and finally got over it I seriously need to talk to you , no relationships just talk online by typing .

    One year a go i began my career in the army .. through out basic and before. I suffered with social anxiety.. . I believed i was just weird or crazy . When i finished ait i found out about social anxiety. And it helps soo much to know. Im not alone ..

  • I myself have social anxiety (social phobia, whatever). I took an anxiety test and I got severe anxiety. I want to go to a medical professional but first off, it costs money when you can do it on YouTube, and second off im too shy. I had to go to the boys and girls club over the summer and I felt like i was being judged so much that i just stopped going. I stayed at home alone, which was pure luxury. Also is it normal for people with social anxiety like I, and maybe even you to put yourself down (example: saying "I cant do it" "I'm too stupid" etc.) or do then I really need help? I just learned yesterday that I had social anxiety and if anyone that has overcome it or still has it, I would love some tips to help me, or even some other people.
  • I work and go to classes just because of that I have to not let myself get worse. idek what I'm majoring in or what I'm doing and almost done with associates degree.. just distracting myself.. but it helps :)
  • im 19 been suffering it for years since i was little. hope this will help me  i had a job at McDonald's had an anxiety attack once or twice for those 2 months and when i was younger i would go out for an hour walk  before i'd go somewhere like the movies believe it or not but it calmed my anxiety down.

  • I have gym downstairs, I would LOVE to go there, but I guess my social anxiety is holding me back. I'm scared of people would just stare at me or even the presence of them turns me off (also, there are cameras), also the same if I go jog outside. How can I go to my gym without these nasty feelings?

    Start jogging regularly. During exercise the body releases neurotransmitters that are designed to make exercise less painful, like endorphins.
