  • Ballroom Blitz is a masterpiece. This band has an original sound of its own and that is what's known as style.

I think Jamel is ready for The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
  • Confidence comes from the fact that these guys could seriously play! There weren’t no PHONY’S in this band. These guys were pro’s and even managed themselves for the most part. Couldn’t have been easy.
  • Some songs fade away over time... THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM! I love dancing to this song, and one such dance session won me the eternal respect of many girls at a party! Very few bands can surpass Sweet in terms of energy and fun in their songs. Thank you for playing this!
  • @Samurai_Stoner
Ahh glam rock, where you could lose your girl to a guy wearing more makeup than her, lol
  • @keithlau3872
This song is almost 50 years old and it still feels and sounds fresh! Love The Sweet!!!

Jamel, your reaction to BB is joyful and hilarious. The Sweet were a great band, real musicians and performer's, so much more than "just a glam rock group". Fantastic entertainers!!!!!

Saw them in early 80's Fantasy's Birmingham, and it was a Ballroom Blitz, couple hundred bikers, couple hundred punks, we rushed the stage and they kept playing, best gig ever !!
  • @meliawhite2499
Steve actually just passed away this year. His autobiography was actually called "Are You Ready Steve...?" Lol.
  • @bob_._.
It was called Glam Rock, and all the hair bands dressed up like this. They wrote this song was about a big fight that broke out at one of their gigs.
  • I never had this much fun listening to a song watching this guy diggin the beat. Lol. I can see why this fella gets so much love. Well deserved.
  • Apparently the song was about a gig they played in Glasgow that turned into a riot. That's Glasgow lol

Cop: sir, could you describe the man who stole your girl? Guy: he had curly locks, a high-collared cape, and he sounds like Pops from Regular Show. Cop: she ain't coming back

This band was BAD ASS !! Period. They rocked as much as Zep and Sabbath etc. Sabbath even inquired about using their producer because they liked the sound so much. They were actually a little before Queen and in much of their music you will hear vocals that sound like Queen but they were doing it before Queen. Live they were very heavy.
  • Haha every time Steve on bass in the green spacesuit starts singing, everybody perks up and stops them dead in their tracks. He steals the show!
  • @HappyAitch
You can’t beat a bit of 70’s glam rock to make you smile.
  • @jeffoxner3688
Motley Crue's bassist, Nikki Sixx said these guys were his inspiration to get into music.

Such an underrated band, they're incredible! I totally smiled to see this song was up for reaction...oh man he's in for it now! This is one of those songs you turn all the way up. I ♡ 70's
  • Jamel, I really loved your shoulder action! Sweet was actually pretty good. This song came out when I was in my Twenties! I’m now 65 years old! My Son was 2 years old when this came out and he used to jump around to this song.
