About KINGDOM HEARTS TIMELINE:

KINGDOM HEARTS TIMELINE is an incredibly massive project I've been wanting to do forever. The only thing that was stopping me from actually working on it was the still-incomplete plot of the χ[chi] portion of the whole saga, which is also the most confusing one. However, I did want to deliver this before the release of KINGDOM HEARTS 3, so we could have the perfect road to the final chapter of the Xehanort saga at our disposal and relive, together, all of the chapters in a definitive and never-seen-before way.
KINGDOM HEARTS TIMELINE is, in fact, different by any other playthroughs or projects around because it is composed of all the Kingdom Hearts titles released so far placed in chronological order. Beware – the events are actually settled chronologically. Which means that every single cutscene and/or gameplay part will follow the exact order of the events of the saga. For instance, the birth of Vanitas will be shown before the Mark of Mastery exam, and so on.
Every episode will start with a screen showing a complete timeline I created purposely for this project.

KINGDOM HEARTS TIMELINE doesn't want to be a simple movie made of cutscenes. If It were to be like that, there wouldn't be anything special about it. This project actually started as a playthrough, giving, of course, priority to story content.
Sitting and watching a 25 minutes video made of cutscenes we've been watching for a decade is just as boring as anything else. Gameplay bits have been thoughtfully placed to make sure you won't fall asleep when watching, giving their contribute for a more immersive experience. They are necessary for keeping people interested and entertained in a never-seen-before way to re-live the saga, watching multiple characters fighting at the same time, as well as showcasing the worlds and the variety of enemies we'll encounter through all the titles.

Finding the right balance is not easy and not always possible –due to countless technical restrictions related to music, episode length and such– just as it's not easy having everyone thinking alike. Of course, I can't make everyone happy, but I did want to point this out.

Lastly, I want you guys to know that the amount of effort being put for this is massive. There are countless hours of work and dedication I've spent (and still spending) for this, for something we all love and care about. My channel is, after all, always been made of this – content that will grant you one of the best levels of knowledge and enjoyment of the Kingdom Hearts saga – and, as much as it's stressful having to translate every Japanese Union χ [Cross] episode, I still do that to deliver the latest story updates of the saga for you.
My main goal is working as much professionally as I can and add details where normally people wouldn't add. Not liking a content is totally fine, whereas insulting and posting offensive comment is not. There is nothing worse than spending your own time to show dedication for something we all love and see offensive reactions coming back at you. For this whole project to be completed, suggestions and questions coming from fans are well accepted and needed. If you do think this deserves appreciation, leaving a Like on the video is more than enough to me. Thank you for reading all of this, and please enjoy!

I just realized the added significance of Roxas picking up a stick to try and resummon the Keyblade on the 2nd Day O.O

1:37 Roxas: "yeah, like ten seconds before entering this simulation" 15:50 Riku's still upset about Roxas breaking his wrist in their battle at Memory's Skyscraper

Heading right into the peaceful times with Hayner, Pence, and Olette after everything Roxas went through last episode.... it's a weird feeling I can't describe.

Axel: "But come on! You're still kind of a zombie!" Roxas: "Oh, thanks!" Hayner: "Why would anyone wanna steal a bonehead like Roxas?" Roxas: "Oh, thanks!" Oof... Just noticed that.

It's ironic how the first interaction we see with Roxas' friends is a question asking about being extremely ticked off because something was stolen. Roxas' last moment was being extremely ticked off because his closest friends were forcefully taken from him by Xemnas.

Notice how there's always a bit of a stutter in the memory sequences whenever Sora tries to remember Kairi? Maybe it's because those memories were stuck inside of Xion for so long, and now it's taking awhile for them to re-integrate.

Every time I see Hayner now I think of "HEY LOSER" lol
  • @SourCherryBomb
Y'all ever just think about how, for Axel, all of the stuff with Roxas and Xion happened barely less than a week ago? At this point, Xion is gone and Roxas has forgotten everything. This series had really made me think about stuff like this.
  • 45:42 Axel: Let's eat some ice cream. We are best friends. Roxas: Never heard of you. Axel: (wut face)
  • @RockR277
Roxas' time in Data Twilight Town is like an episode of the Twilight Zone, which is pretty fitting.
  • @JesseT63
guess you weren't joking when it comes to Kh2
  • @astraldirectrix

Even though it was already known, what a weird sight to see Roxas in this new context only a day (for both him and us!) after being captured by Riku. Combined with weaker battle skills and Jesse McCartney's earlier voice and acting skills, it does feel as if Roxas has a total new persona, just as what DiZ wanted. In this episode, Roxas' battle style is nonetheless remarkably aggressive. Some lingering will or anger from the previous day? Nice flashback from Sora's awakening in KH1, BTW. I feared that you would discontinue such additions, but it's pleasant to be wrong. Such personal touches throughout the series are now tying nicely with how KH2 first had this kind of flashbacks. EDIT: Well, the Stick is back. I always wondered why it was in 358/2 Days in the first place, and watching Roxas' story in chronological order changes quite a lot the meaning of its second appearance…
  • Holy guacamole! An hour-long episode right after the most powerful one? Everglow, you spoil us.
  • @Gamelover254
Yes we’re gonna get back to the epically timed fights! I have to admit it was something I missed about the fully modded fights in the 358/2 days segment. I am soooo looking forward to the epic reaction commmands and finishers!!

"Nobodies having hearts was an ass-pull that came out of nowhere!" DiZ KingdomHearts, in the same game that Nobodies are formally introduced in: Namine's encounter with Roxas put his heart in contact with Kairi's. Fake geek boys Really excited to see KH2 begin, but also sad that Days is over. It's been a long ride so far and I can't give enough props for the effort and love you've put into this project.

18:12 Diz you have violated the law using counterfeit money. Cease now and oh wait wrong game. But still that is some awesome technology to bring data things and make it become real
