Continuing work, I fix the boost pressure line, and get the rebuilt injection pump and injectors, plus the oil cooler, back from Area Diesel Service. They did a great job, and I work on getting this things installed back on the machine so we can get her running again.

I really appreciate all the work you put into setting up the cameras so we get a good visual of what's going on.
  • @quantumss
I will say, you are one determined individual. Only a mechanic would understand the frustration you go thru.

I suspect if I was making these videos half of the audio track would just be censor bleeps. You have the patience of a saint. You’re awesome and keep up the great work! Thanks for Another great video! A couple more month to half a million a subscribers and maybe a couple more to 100000000 views!

Years ago I built a 4 car garage. I over time got the tools and equipment. I loved making old stuff run and like new. Then I had a stroke where I can do nothing. That's why I love your videos cause of what you do and your ingenuity of things you make. I love my life through you now. Thank you

U know what. For some reason your channel has become addictive to me,,,I’m not a macanitic. But I like how you explain and show what you’re saying and doing..thanks so much.
  • At this point, the name needs to be upgraded from "Beast" to "Hydra" because every time you fix something, something else breaks Lol.

Nothing better than watching you, Jon, putting the thing back together. It's giving a hell of a fight, but nothing that would stop you!
  • John - The ‘gravity’ of the situation with that mirror that kept dropping was overwhelming. 😂

One of the top YouTube diy problem solvers! 👍

For that line I’d have silver soldered a sleeve of larger tube over it. It’s a very quick method and doesn’t require as much heat as brazing would. With a jewelers torch I have fixed the spring in the back of the drivers seat in my truck without messing with its temper.

Dude, I've seen leaks but that far exceeds my definition. That's more like... Puking oil. Thanks for sharing and I hope you can manage to finagle the new line in without extra disassembly.

That little tool you made for pressing the fitting in is an example of most of what I do on my lathe. That and custom washers make life much easier.
  • Jon, I'm sure I'm not that only one that cannot believe you bought an old, worn out excavator for scrap price, and it has all of the problems you're running into. You must just have bad luck... 🤣 Seriously though, we love watching the struggle!
  • @dazer123
I can't believe you did a whole episode without mentioning a seal
  • I am a firm believer in the grabby thingy . That is one tool I made sure I saved from my Dads toolbox .

When I saw where the leak was, my heart sank into my stomach. Brutal.
  • Thanks Jon for showing us the hardship you go through, even though you make your work look easy. You inspire us.
