Neat idea which has given me some other ideas for mods. I'd like to be able to put a lid on the bucket so everything stays self-contained without spillage as you trek to your fishing spot(s) which are sometimes not easy to get to. To accomplish this I think I am going to incorporate a 90 degree corner bracket to the outside bottom bolts using a wingnut, then drive a tent spike through each such bracket to secure the bucket to the ground. I'll also have another tent spike and a short piece of rope to attach to the handle which will be positioned on the opposite side of the bucket and driven in to provide a 3rd anchor point. To make everything fit I may have to shorten the lengths of the PVC tubes slightly, but envision everything fitting inside the bucket and staying put once the lid is in place (including a hammer or hand axe for driving the stakes). Again, great idea and thanks for the inspiration! Thinking even further, holes could be cut into the lid to allow the PVC to pass through the lid which can be left in place to provide a small surface for tackle, bait cutting, drink, etc. Lots of potential and if/when I get some of these manufactured perhaps I'll post some pictures.

I made this and it worked. it worked so good the fish tipped the bucket over and I almost lost my rods. lol. So I wrapped a Rope around the bucket and now I anchor the bucket in with tent pegs or a long pole. Cheers.

Nice project! Simple, straight forward and really functional.

Awesome video brother..there are endless possibilities with that bucket set up like add a tool holder or a cutting board

Really nice project, I see myself making this in the near future. I'm planning on spot welding a "T" on the rebar to give myself a handle to grab when it's time to install and remove. Thanks for the awesome instructions.

I like your bucket better than most I have seen.

I fish in the ocean, so adding some water to the bottom may be a better idea for me, must admit, this seems like a great idea....thanks

Good thinking I like that maybe if you made your rebar with a handle on it like A L shape might be easier to put in the ground and pull out of the ground if I still use small rides like that I would use that kind of setup I like that

Great idea. I'm a coastal fisherman I use it on the rocks because sometimes I can't get a rod holder between the crevices. Thanks for sharing.

Great video! Straight to the point, no bullshit or product placements. Easy to follow and great results for the low cost involved to build the rod holders. Keep up the good work!

Just a thought cover the bottom screw holes with silicon sealant and seal around the pvc tube which you put the bar through and make the bucket waterproof so you can keep the fish alive if you want

Man I’m very impressed with that project!!! You’re brilliant!!! Can’t see myself putting the sweat and time into it. But the concept is awesome!!!!! 👍🏾👍🏾

Awesome video Good information without an autobiography or any nonsense

Great video. Seen a lot but yours is the most practical and useful

Excellent idea, I would rather not put the spike thru the bottom of the bucket but fill it up with water instead, you can then use the water to clean your hands after putiin on new bait every time.

I'm in brother, good job!
