Good morning River. My 20 year old daughter recently returned from her first trip to London (from Sydney). She always tells me she can never understand my love and respect for the Royal Family, and doesnt see what the big deal about them is. She called me one night extremely excited, because she was doing the walk down the Mall to Buckingham Palace and she saw a motorcade of cars and motorbikes rushing towards Buckingham Palace. Inside the car were King Charles and Queen Camilla. She was beyond thrilled, about sighting them, but couldn't understand why she felt so elated about it. I replied "Because that is the magic of Royalty." 👑

On what planet does migraine think it’s acceptable to send a “personal” letter to the head of state completely sidestepping Harry who is actually a Royal Prince and the face of Invictus, which the trip was meant to be about? I felt sickened by Misan Harriman's whinge-fest about racism directed toward him by an older white woman in a first-class carriage on a train. She said nothing to him, but he could sense her disapproval, he claimed. He left her "to stew in her hatred." I'm an older white woman myself, and it will take more than Harriman's skewed perceptions to convince me that the lady on the train hates him because of his skin color.
