“The statement that Greater Manchester Police have put out actually is quite misleading, because what it implies is that those officers were justified in the actions.”

The footage of a police officer kicking and stamping on the head of a man lying on the ground at Manchester Airport is “shocking and horrific”, says former detective superintendent Shabnam Chaudhuri.

Why is she trying to make it about race? Didn’t look to be anything about race to me? Oh that’s right, if somebody does something against a non white person they have to be racist so the they can claim to be a victim! I get so fed up of the racist card being played!
  • @frankbinder8508
Of course you don't get to see any justification in this clip, as the attack the criminals have carried out isn't shown. Let's all condemn the police and feel sorry for violent criminals.

Terrible reporting from the Times newspaper showing half a story.Clearly as inaccurate as the woman being interviewed in this video. She doesn’t even know if Manchester’s an international airport and she’s giving her opinion.
  • In an ideal world, this type of behaviour would be avoidable - we don't live in an ideal world. This is not to be condoned, but it should be understood in context. We don't have a video of the female officer having her nose broken. We don't have a video of the panic these violent people caused in a public place, where families gathered to go on holiday. Violence needs to be avoided, but (as this woman said) this needs to be looked at in a human context. Police and the travelling public are human too.

Bringing race into it when it was nothing to do with that it was obviously the fact they had broke a woman’s nose and put two more in hospital!! USUAL SUSPECTS STICKING TOGETHER WHAT A SHOCK.
  • The female officer has a bloodied Nose...how did that happen?? Again the perpetrators will claim the victim.
  • @nickread2623
Its almost like the media only want us to see half the story 😂..... we dont believe you anymore we know how those animals behave...
  • This woman was a superintendent no clew as an operational officer, no time on the street or taking risk. It's about time they interviewed real police.
  • @Yorkshiremag
2 Gentlemen ? These clowns commentating on this don’t live in the real world. There is a very real risk that the female officer who had her nose broken could have been rendered unconscious so her firearm could have very likely been compromised, then the news story would have been why have the police allowed their guns to be taken in an airport!
  • The police need to get tough people are walking all over them nobody is dead or seriously injured.
  • @grahamwood333
If it was an English football fan being kicked Ms Choudhury wouldn't be interested
  • And this is how the grooming gangs got away with it for so long. People like this former copper.
  • @pa5287
you dont know the whole story get the facts first
  • @user-bu9nb8wr6e
Where is the video of the violence before these actions? I notice that the victims show their mate being attacked but don't show why it happened in the first place.
  • @GG-tf3tr
I have been to the airport many times got a meal deal read a book and sat quiet oh and I once went for a pint of beer but I can honestly say I never came across any armed police that wanted to interact with me ,probably because I know how to behave .
  • @tonyvines-o7r
And as normal the police are in the wrong, what would happen if a weapon was taken from an armed officer? The police are asked to work with hands tied behind backs most of time. I believe several officers were assaulted just prior to this, one female with a broken nose? Why is no one moaning about this????
  • Full support for the officers according to reports they assaulted cops
  • The video clip does not show the full truth. Before you comment, get all the facts first.
