I have been asking for this for like 2 years, I am so over the moon! This just opened up a huge amount of exploration that can be done on planets that are mostly water!

I personally think I'm going to wait until I've had a bit more time in the game. I understand the vets wanting the option to land on water but I haven't even built a sub yet so I don't want to immediately make things easier. I love that it's an optional thing.

There was a expedition that had me go to a planet that was mostly water. Had to make a sub and go far from my ship. Once I was done with my expedition I traveled around trying to find ground that barely came out of the water so that I could call my ship. This is upgrade is much appreciated.

This is going to be so useful when a sunken freighter is very far from land (also I use the same interceptor ship model)

After having to create terrain from a hill close to surface and then level off the top just to call my ship after subbing around for a while, I WILL need this.

The Living ships also got it as well you just have to pray to RNG gods to get it from the Phycotic egg or whatever its called!
