How NOT to Do PETRAS RUN…
In todays video we will be attempting to acquire the forsaken Rivensbane title. This of course includes completing Petra’s Run. For those who don’t know, Petra’s Run is a version of Last Wish where if even one person dies, the whole team is instantly sent back to orbit, pretty brutal. On top of this we will be doing Petras Run completely legit, including Riven, and trust me when I say, you’re gonna wanna see how this ends. But before we get to Petra’s Run, there a few other things we gotta take care of first. A lot went into making this video and I really hope you enjoy.
To complete the Last Wish seal these are the 16 triumphs you must complete:
1: Complete Last Wish on any difficuly
2: Do it with clan mates
3: Open 10 chests in the raid
4: Make 10 wishes
5: Place 5 raid banners
6: Do it with 6 guardians of the same class
7: Kali Challenge
8: Shuro Chi Challenge
9: Morgeth Challenge
10: Vault Challenge
11: Riven Challenge
12: Beat it with 6 Void Guardians
13: Beat it with 6 Solar Guardians
14: Beat it with 6 Arc Guardians
15: Complete Petra’s Run
16: Complete the Last Wish collection badge (Collect every piece of Last Wish loot *1K included)
Now we already had a number of these triumphs completed so we waited for Last Wish to be the featured raid, and began knocking out the rest.
I had a glittering key from our last Riven clear so we entered the wish that spawns a secret chest after morgeth. For those of you who don’t know, this is how you get the Last Wish ship.
The morgeth challenge ended up being a bit more annoying than I’d anticipated. Turns out having like 10 ogres pushing you around is kind of obtrusive to the encounter.
The vault challenge is really easy, all you have to do is not let any knights enter the main room.
We went back, completed the shuro chi challenge, and practiced Riven one more time before jumping into the main event. We had practiced Riven maybe 5 times leading up to this however we had still not managed to get in a flawless completion. After this warm up we felt pretty good about things so we decided to take our first jab at Petra’s Run.
In order to activate this version of the raid you must enter a wish into this wall every time. And it is about as annoying as it sounds.
Attempt #1, we entered the wish and started the Kalli encounter.
For some reason we didn’t get kicked back to orbit. Naturally half the team began questioning if we had put in the correct wish, myself included.
Attempt #2, We entered the wish, and took another stab at Kalli.
Momento was too busy blessing us with lumina and stepped on the wrong side of his plate, so we returned to orbit and began attempt #3.
Kalli’s death brings us to the first of 3 jumping puzzles in this raid and, next to Riven, these honestly scare me the most.
We dropped shuro chi with relative ease which felt good, but we were now faced with the 2nd jumping puzzle in the raid and not gonna lie, I was kinda dreading this part.
As I suspected Morgeth just kinda fell over. On only our 3rd attempt, we’ve already reached vault and I’d be lying if I didn’t say this looked promising.
We dropped Kalli and proceeded to the first jumping puzzle.
Alright Back to Shuro Chi. We had it pretty easy with her last run, so this time should be no different.
Okay Attempt #5.
Like I said it was bound to happen eventually, Attempt #6 started with us, you guessed it, entering that goddamn wish.
Alright Attempt #7, Entered the wish, Killed Kalli, passed the jumping puzzle, and ended up back at shuro chi.
While I was excited to pass the vault, we all know what comes next. The urge to cheese Riven was strong but we stuck to our guns. Will we fail? Probably. But we said we wanted to do this legit, and that’s exactly what we’re gonna try an do.

I did Petra's Run with my best mates without telling then we were doing Petra's Run. So, I decided to do a full Last Wish Run with my boys and when we got to Kalli, everyone had to quickly go afk or where watching a video. I took this time to quickly insert the Petra's Run wish and luckily, no-one saw the indicator of the Wish being out in. Afterwards, everyone finally got back to their seats and we didn't die all the way up to Queenswalk. It was there that I told my team the Petra's Run Wish was active with a screenshot to back me up and I tell you now I'd never seen these 5 friends of mine go into silent & sweaty mode in a blink of an eye. We managed to do Queenswalk flawlessly and thus do Petra's Run without being aware of doing it initially. Best 2 hours of my life. 😭🤣

That high octane adrenaline and suspense when the music started playing and “Riven, Make a Wish vs Hidden Disciples” was so cool because as viewers, we knew things were about to go down ❤🎉

That animated intro / "fight start screen" was some of the most hype editing i've seen in a destiny video it looked so good and high quality and really got me so excited for the upcoming battle!

dude the energy for the riven fight was definitely there, as soon as the cutscene finished and it said "Hidden Disciples VS. Riven" I knew that was the run, its been a while since a video has made me get like this, so you definitely earned a sub from me. keep up the good work, and hopefully the algorithm blesses this video to get the views it deserves.

As i neared the end of this video and all i could hear was just shear enjoyment and happiness from your group, i couldn't help but loose a single tear from my eye; as i remembered my first raid clear in my destiny career. it was VoG. I had spent days wandering the caves with the bois. I'll never forget the feeling of clearing it for the first time.

Fantastic toad. Great way to end my Sunday night. I also really loved the edit of her coming in with all her quotes that was goated. I wish riven had more impact before and after it’s raid story wise. (Praying that conclusion to the dreaming city comes through and the 15th wish)

It’s always a blast having fun and messing around but when the hairs raise and the fireteam locks in it’s kinda scary how well things go. Super cool to watch.
