Not dogs went onto open their own restaurant in Birmingham, which has since sadly shut down permanently. Social media is inactive and their official website has also been closed down for good. The company has since dissolved after going into liquidation.

Peter turning over the sausage is the best life hack i've seen in a while ! :D

I feel like with what they have, a restaurant was the complete wrong direction for them to go in, but should have stuck and expanded on the food carts, festivals, and pop-ups. It's a shame to hear the business went under.

Dragons didn’t want that 15% (meat free) steak in the business
-
I swear dragons den wait for years for businesses to fail so they can post the clip of them trying to get investment, when theyve been and gone 🤣 savagery

The brand name was certainly strong. They also had good contacts with Quorn. Too bad they did badly given their endorsement by the market leader who somehow managed to make it but not them? Maybe the restaurant idea was not a good one.

28 million? Did they just pluck a number from rhe air?

If it costs anything like the food in vegetarian restaurants I've seen, it will be £15 for a hotdog with no side or drink. They will go out of business like the rest of them. Too expensive and too niche.

I don’t think the issue is lack of choice, but rather for me (who isn’t veggie/vegan but occasionally like a vegan meal, it’s the high salt content. Often, tiny portions, have way too much salt.
-
How exactly does a vegetarian hotdog "exclude" meat eaters? That made no sense.
-
Notdog is a great name! I would love to try.

Meat free facsimiles of meat products never fail to disappoint. The expectation that it might come anywhere close to tasting like something with a face is yet to be met.

They'd kill it if they did this now. Just a few years too early, perfect market now.
