While swapping attachments is new for Battlefield its actually been around for games like Crysis and Warface.

Honestly it feels the exact same as every other Battlefield game I've played. Though I was disappointed that there is no campaign, I realize that all the original Battlefield games had no campaign as well, so in a way it's a return to form.

I never experienced the launch of this game. I played it for the first time a couple of months ago and 190 hours later I'm yet to stop. It's an absolute blast.

This applies to many games with rocky launches. Yes, we should be calling out when a big game company pushes out a buggy mess, but making that your final verdict and staying away from those games forever can potentially make you miss a genuinely good time down the line when those issues eventually get fixed.
