Hemoptysis, the expectoration of blood from the respiratory tract is a common presenting complaint. In this video, we discuss the functional anatomy of the lung along with causes of the hemoptysis. There is also a discussion of the management options of hemoptysis which include (but are not limited to) bronchial artery embolisation and surgical resection.
