Nice overview, but you used some of the old specs. Current AWD 0-60 is 4.0 sec, and top speed is 101 mph. (Not 3.5 sec and 110 mph)

Well Louis, that was a fun introduction to the Aptera! Hopefully you get to drive the Gamma model soon, or better yet one of the Production Intent models that Aptera is in the process of building now. Beyond having fully working solar, the newer models have an updated suspension, front and rear. Which makes the ride even smoother and more controlled over rough surfaces. The display and controls are refined and intuitive, from what I've seen. Plus the PI model has a carbon fiber tub (like an exotic car) which will make the Aptera feel more solid and upmarket. Thanks for the positive review. I'm one of those Aptera investors, and I am very excited to get my Aptera next year. Making my daily commute and long drives more fun, for less money.

the concept of it all resonates with me so much, as a minimalist and for all efficiency with no unnecessary bs. it s the most aerodynamic shape and it s not like this shape just to look cool which makes extra cool and smth i like. so cool.

A Tesla Model 3 can add up to 100 miles of range in 15 minutes on a fast charger. Despite lower kw charging system, the Aptera will likely add well over 200 miles in the same time due to that astonishing efficiency! Efficiency FTW when it comes to charging too!

Love everything about it except the yoke steering wheel. Hopefully there will be a normal wheel option or conversion down the line. Although with openpilot you wont have to use the wheel nearly as much
