    The problem with Cyclops is there isn't much use for his power outside of the usual blast this thing in front of me. Honestly Scott has more value to the team because of his tactical mind and natural leadership far more than his powers. Compare this to someone like Storm, Jean, Gambit, and even Iceman who all are not only far more powerful than Scott but have far more interesting and creative uses of their powers. If Scott could control his blasts with needing his glasses or visor that'd be a different story but as is I can't place him any higher than Beta level.
