  • This game was amazing. It's the kind of game I wanna play over and over just to experience the beauty and the art over and over again. Also, it's confirmed through the achievements that this game represents the 5 stages of grief. The beginning - Denial Red - Anger Green - Bargaining Blue - Depression Yellow/The end - Acceptance

I just realized that in Gris pt. 1 the lower voice at the beginning is probably her mother, and the higher one that comes in after is Gris harmonizing. Then in Gris pt.2 there's only a high voice, just Gris singing by herself.

Still pretty sad the old "full soundtrack" video got deleted, it had some amazing comments and people were so sweet here But this is what's right, these musics belong to Berlinist and I'm happy they're finally taking credit because god they're talented :) Let's remake a good comment section here, full of love and coping, if necessary

I wonder if the creators know how many people overcome their inner storms with this stunning game

54:31 I think that's my favourite part of the tracklist, so anxious, the seriousness that the lower toms gives, just wonderful

(00:10:56) The fact that this track is called 'Perseverance' really shows how depression can always seem to bring you down, or work against you. Especially in the 'Red' chapter of the game where the wind is constantly knocking you down, but you have to remain solid to your ground to progress. The creators and composers of this game and soundtrack are geniuses. Webster's Definition of 'Perseverance': steady persistence in a course of action, a purpose, a state, etc., especially in spite of difficulties, obstacles, or discouragement.

I love this soundtrack with my life. It is not just the beauty, or the emotion that I love, but something undeniably ascendant about the delicate affection that is written into very note, the ethereal reach of the vocal performances. I feel sad, angry, overwhelmed. I cry not just with sorrow, but with relief when I hear this music. Thank you so much for creating something so precious.

I've bought the game a few days ago and I literally fell in love! As a gamer and artist. It's just so harmonious. Thank you! ^^

Today was my grandparents' funeral. I came here hoping to find some kind of closure, I guess. My grandfather was a stoic for most of my life, but I learned so much about him these past few days. The man joined an underground resistance against the Nazis in high school and survived a bullet because of it. I met my great uncle at his wake for the first time. But I didn't feel anything particular until I came to this soundtrack. I've played this game before someone close to me died. I wonder if it'll be any different if I play it now. Just...thank you for posting this. I needed it.

I found myself really connecting with Gris. I too lost a voice, my voice, I lost my colours. And I struggled for so long to find them again. Had it not been for my friends and their support, I would have drowned in the inky darkness of my own despair. So when I picked up this game, I saw that broken version of me in Gris. That younger version of me who needed help navigating through her grief. Beautiful game, powerful soundtrack and message, I love it a lot

If I'd never played Gris & you played this to me, It would still be a beautiful story & a journey I would cherish for the rest of my days. This. This is what art sounds like.
  • I am playing this music every morning welcoming my kindergarten students to classroom. The music brings calmness as they enter and play quietly waiting for class to begin. Thank you.

I'm listening to this soundtrack almost everyday since playing Gris. My father died a few days ago. I didn't have the best relationship to him, though always wished we would reconciliate one day. He was my father after all. For me personally, this game is not only about the 5 stages of grief, but also about self-discovery and learning how to love yourself, despite everything that happened to you. Something that he never teached me, but tried to emotionally defeat me. My feelings towards him are very split up. This music has a very clear message to me: Forgive yourself. Love yourself. And forgive the people around you.

I love this soundtrack sooo much
