Hustling waters on the streets builds character in the youth and teaches them the value of a dollar.
  • I'm from Chicago and about 20 years ago I sold bottles of water on the streets. I worked no more than 5 hours a day. I sometimes got laughed at. Slow days I made about $120. On average I made about $180. One day I made over $800. Laugh all you want

I rather see them selling water than drugs
  • Atl is like my second home, so I'm familiar with the water boys. I've always respected their hustle. Selling water is better than committing crimes. One thing I found out about ATL fellas, they ain't punks. I bet Brad won't be laughing at them again.
  • Salute to them kids...for selling water on the streets...not out there robbing or stealing and thats a plus God Bless the direction their headed in 🙏🏿😇👑

I have lived long enough to see people humbled as Willie D mentioned. Some of them humbled beyond belief. Also, maids, janitors, lawn care workers, garbage men, etc. perform very much needed tasks, so people just need to be quiet.
  • Children been doing this every summer in Philadelphia for years. I’ll buy from them because I appreciate them for what they do. And the waters are always nice and cold.

5:08 "Never look down on another human being unless you're reaching to pick them up. Because life got a way of humbling you, baby." Amen, Willie D!
  • You're right never look down on a person I'm broke I'm not homeless

What's the difference between selling water or having a lemonade stand...nothing. This is what kids do.
  • This is because they don't have to work for things! Their mommy and daddy give them everything!

Great message in the video! Salute to the kids who were making legitimate money selling water. The fact that they used their initiative to find a way to make some honest money is commendable.
  • Willie, I agree; never look down on someone as such. True yet funny story. When I was a teenager in the streets in East Cleveland, there was an old white man who used to push a shopping cart around our neighborhood, picking up aluminum cans. As a teenager, I wasn't one to liter, yet our neighborhood had its fair share of cans on the ground; me and a few of partners from my hood would often give the old man cans kinda of assisting him as he clean up our neighborhood. Years later, when we all became adults, the old man passed away. There was a write-up in the newspaper about the old white man discussing his life to include that he left his family 5 million dollars when he passed away. His children expressed that he picked up cans for about 34 years until his death. Moral of the story... don't look down on anyone, and don't judge someone's situation. He left his family with 5 million dollars. 😅😂 King Rice✊🏽👊🏽💪🏽🦾💯
  • That's a good hustle selling water on a hot day like a concert you can sell the water for $5
  • We should help our own. I’m getting ready to be established where I want to help the less unfortunate in our black communities
  • @Tallie90
They raised those animals like that, they are cruel people no souls no compassion
