My favorite PBA event of the year! The competitors, the sportsmanship, the strikefest, pure class beween Belmo and Tackett and great calling by Randy and Dave! This event truly embodies what the PBA is all about.

A 300 game and two of the greatest present day bowlers duking it out in the Championship round. Always a treat.

These guys are so good it's ridiculous. Two drastically different oil patterns, and they are averaging like 268 or some such crazy number. If these 5 guys came to your neighborhood bowling center and bowled on the forgiving THS patterns that most of us bowl on, what would they bowl??? Would they bowl a 300 in 2 out of 3 games? Only because of a ring 9 or ring 10 here and there? I can't imagine being able to generate this much power and still be this accurate, and to understand the transitions and stay ahead of everything that's going on. They are just SO good.
