  • Rick Neilson is definitely 1 of the most underrated guitarist in rock n roll
  • Right around 2004, I was a “lively” acoustic guitarist/singer/songwriter and I had a chance to open for Dick Dale at a club out in Rockford, Illinois. I was hanging out before the show at the door, shooting the breeze with the bouncer, when this very fashionable-looking, rock ‘n’ roll type guy walks up and says, “Hey, has Scottish McMillan played yet?“ I said, “No, he goes on a little later.“The guy said, “Oh, cool, glad I didn’t miss him. Hey, wait… Are YOU Scottish McMillan?” We had a laugh. Turned out he was Daxx Nielsen, who was going to be on drums for Dick Dale that night. That felt good, I have to say. Oh, and his dad showed up later and they both watched my whole set, after which Rick came over and shook my hand and said that I put on a good show.. That was also pretty fuckin cool.
  • 40 years later and they still sound awesome! We saw them live just weeks before this and was so impressed. One of my all time favorite bands.
  • I've seen them in Grant Park before 100 thousand people they are this GREAT ! Reno saw a great show 33 years later !
  • I remember seeing them at the Century 2 convention center in Wichita Kansas. It was probably 1977 or 78, and ACDC was the opening act. It was a huge concert for me. Absolutely badass.
  • Just fuckin Awesome. Cheap Trick never disappoints love em!!!!!
  • My first concert Ohio State Fair. Caught a pick from Uncle Rick. He is still my hero.
  • My first concert ever, 1980 at the Glens Falls Civic Center in New York. There was nothing like growing up in the 70s and being turned on to the best rock n roll bands ever, nothing today compares, just my opinion
  • Absolutely love it! I saw them over 30 years ago in college and they rock!!!!
  • This brings tears to my eyes, they are so oooooooo great! I'm so glad I lived in their heyday, which is still going and I can still look at it and still hear the same musicians playing it it's fantastic thank you
  • They have always been the best at playing some good ol' balls out rock and fuckin roll- Thanks boys and never stop and never die !!!!

This one might be my new favorite one out on the platform. Excellent quality!!!
  • I think they all did a great job none of us can do what we did when we were younger but they're still at it and doing a damn good job for all the years that has passed sounded good to me

It’s sad that Bun E is not in the group anymore. He was f-ing cool.
  • How in the world is ANYBODY sitting down?? That is rock and roll at it’s finest! At least those two guys in front knew what to do. Freakin awesome!!! Thanks for sharing, made my night!! 😃❤️😃
