Vegetarian food has a reputation for being bland and uninspiring. But that is not the case at the Singapore Buddhist Lodge which serves free vegetarian meals to some 700 people daily. The credit for this culinary transformation goes to the head chef who has been progressively introducing an array of delectable dishes that can match their meat-based counterparts in flavour and texture. The revamped menu has even managed to draw in a younger, working crowd to savour its offerings.

But the kitchen may face its biggest challenge yet after the COVID-19 dining restrictions were lifted. It needs to prepare food for approximately 7,000 people who will attend the Vesak Day feast.

Great insight to large kitchen organizations. It's almost like an orchestra, with military precision. This type need to prepare days and weeks beforehand Also great footage on underground "caverns". There are some gems in Singapore that make the country look bigger than it actually is.
