Penguin The God and Devil is named so because Haizaki (Penguin user) is the Devil of the Field, and Hiroto (user of The Explosion) is the God Striker, so of course their move is God and Devil working together. And Last Resort, which is Gouenji’s ‘Last Resort’ to get Japan on the level of the rest of the world, and to show that they mean business and are strong enough to fight against the world, and is said by Haizaki that it is about TEN TIMES as strong as his Perfect Penguins at the point we first see it at the start. Of course they all become that strong apparently but y’know.

This season is for the international tournament, like season 3 of the original series.

A “majin” is a generic term of a demon or evil spirit in Japanese culture so the Majin the hand isn’t a name but just a regular devil. Fujin, Raijin, Ghost, are all named majins/devils despite how they are called gods at times. Also I’m pretty sure either the penguins always had red eyes or only now they do but it applies to all the users not the “good” or “bad” ones

so just in case you're curious this is how time trance works, the 'first shot' he fires is an illusion, throughout the episode their team crosses their arms to do hypnosis wich also happens at the start of time trance, if you look carefully the ball stays in place after being shot, this is so once the gk is off guard due to trying to stop the fake shot he can then fire the real shot to go in, it's definitely on the edges of border line cheating but it is one of my favorite shots because for once it's not just the standard of having the shot be physically stronger but instead having it actually be like a puzzle they have to solve and unlike maboroshi shot wich does just straight up feel like cheating there is an actual way to how it works and can thus be countered in general they have a lot of cool ideas to make shots go in in more ways than just power, the first requiem dust aims at the empty space in the goal, falcon sky bullet comes from a sharp angle behind the gk, the first carronade hou scatters into many pieces, they hide one player behind the other as a fient and off course the diamong ray curve and diamond edge wich come at different angles also yes that is a blade, the orion foundation will try and cheat to stop japan even with a literal metal blade or explosion, that said the guy was switched out upon being exposed so they mostly try to be subtle about their cheating from what I remember though there are still a couple cases were they blatantly cheat and one time the other team even got boos for it here is some bonus trivia: pink haired guy and white hurricane guy share the same voice actor as do shellbit burst and innocent drive buff guy is actually a midfielder so him having a block move sorta makes sense once you find that out, most of the russia scorers are originally midfielders though it is more excluse able considering their thing is that everyone can play multiple positions, the cobra cannon guy is a defender grey haired pinguin guy scored the most goals out of all japan members a lot of the bonus members were chosen by fans like aphrodi the god, blu pentagram, water girl, the bear killer and no longer fat goku this is the first season to have a girl be the final boss team captain, genesis came close but they technically aren't the final boss and so did destrutchers but fran's status as a player is debatable this inazuma japan has the most amount of members out of any team though this results in a lot being sidelined sadly ALSO it might not have to end, while it is very unlikely a new anime season will come any time soon victory road of heroes is releasing either this or next year, now game animations probably won't hold up to the anime for obvious reasons but they are including new moves so maybe once that comes out and someone makes a compilation you could react to that, there are even still many game exclusive techniques from previous seasons that never appeared in the anime

Yeah, so like a boss I'm gonna explain Time Trance and the blade thing while trying to be as non spoilery as possible. So basically, Time Trance (as it's name suggests) seems to mess with time. It looked like Endou (almost used his dub name Mark there) was going to stop it but it just played back and Endou didn't have the time to react. God of Wind, God of Lightning Ghost nullified it though. The blade...yeah, the team was straight up cheating. If you ever plan on watching the series then I'm gonna try and not spoil it too much: they were cheating and they definitely knew they were cheating. That's all I'm gonna say.

Orion was definitely going to be the final season and match of the entire series for the anime. So that is why they ended on a 5 chain to make it memorable if I had to guess. Though because the Ares game has become an entirely new game the CEO of level 5 recently mentioned there might be an anime adaption of victory road. It may not happen as they aren't sure and it could depend on the game but we may get more seasons of inazuma eleven

Inazuma Eleven was always a bit wacky when it came to referees, but this season was probably the worst of it. It's a plot point that every other team cheats and gets away with it, but the good guys literally breathing gets them a citation
