The reason the original characters are on different teams is because they are trying to improve them. After becoming national champions in season 1, they decided to have an exhibition match against an overseas team and lost hard, as you saw with the 0 - 7 score. After that, they decided to split up to different teams to get stronger, but to also improve the skill level of the new teams to increase Japan's overall soccer proficiency.

Just a heads up, this is an alternate universe/time line from the original series and Go. No spoilers, but a lot of events that happened in the original series cease to unfold.

This is an alternative timeline for inazuma eleven after the football frontier So the og season 1 is still canon Think of ares as an alternative season 2 where instead of aliens we get this
  • "I can't be shocked anymore" Alonso Fibiano: "Are you sure about that?"
  • Right. You seem to be one of the few reactors who questioned the moves looking different. My guess is that they decided to revamp the og special moves because this is a reboot. Basically, it takes place during the time season 2 takes place, effectively replacing it. Anything from season 2 and after never happened. Guess they took the chance to give the moves a different look.

Although the animation looks shiner i feel like theres definitly things off with it. The main way i could describe it is like comparing dragon ball z to dragon ball super. Ares/orion being super its looks neat and more polished but there are alot more still frames and the impact of how they kick the ball doesnt have the energy of the og. The og being z has more energy/impact even though the animation is more rough the detail and stuff is there. Also when you look at how the shots feel super powerful in ares/orion the impact of the ball against the goalie doesnt really feel like it correlates with how powerful looking the animation is unlike in the og where you know a shot is powerful because it absolutely decked endou in the face or something.
  • Yeah, everything seems to be different, because Area takes place a year after Season 1, but in a universe where Season 2 and 3 never happened, so they don’t have the training and experiences of those experiences. So of course in that year they would have chosen to evolve those moves in a way to make them stronger, which is why every move looks different now, since obviously with a year of training your abilities and capabilities would look different or work differently and all. And also, you’ve met some more impressive and important characters such as Atsuya Fubuki, who was the creator of Eternal Blizzard, and the owner of the scarf Shirou Fubuki wore during Season 2, who died during childhood, and now he’s not dead, among other people.

Basically it's a reboot and takes place in an alternate universe, in this universe, some things are different, like Fubuki's brother is alive, Hiroto is alive too and so on, which changed certain events in history, such as the aliens, who never attacked, so the players here are weaker than in the classic version, as they never had to train rigorously to defeat the aliens.

    Dude😂😂😂 i like ur reaction
  • Tbh this ss only flashy, the power is not even equal 10% of the OG timeline,i mean Bakkunetsu storm in the OG was one person skill and then this timeline it need 4 ppl to do that

I don’t mean to sound offensive but I feel like you should’ve rewatched one of the previous vids before going back into inazuma 11. A lot of the moves were old ones (I get they look a little different because of the animation) you recognized when you did the vids back to back but it feels like you forgot about 80-90% of them.
