Shrimp Pasta With Creamy Spicy Tomato Sauce Recipe | 30 Minute Meal

This recipe can satisfy a number of meal occasions. It's quick and easy so you can prepare it for a weeknight dinner. Yet it's also perfect for casual entertaining as it is packed with flavor and a touch of heat from the Italian herbs and crushed red pepper. Use jumbo shrimp if you want to make it impressive!

Ingredients!
4 oz. large shrimp
Pappardelle pasta
1 tbsp. chicken bouillon
1 tbsp. oil
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp Cajun seasoning
2 tbsps. unsalted butter
1 small onion chopped
1/2 tbsp. minced garlic
2-3 tbsps. tomato paste
1 tsp dry pepper flakes
1 tsp Cajun seasoning
1 handful fresh spinach
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup parmesan cheese
salt and pepper to taste

    WOWZA! Great recipe indeed. I'm the cook in our home. My wife and I met when I was 72, two years after my wife of 49 years passed away (Leukemia). After we dated for awhile she asked me two questions: "How old are you?" I told her 72 (8 years her senior). She paused a minute and then asked "Do you cook?" Note, not Can but Do you cook. I "sorta" lied and said yes. Because I could cook she gave me a pass on the age bit. Been cooking ever since and love it. Her first husband told her as a very young bride that she could not cook anywhere as good as his mother. Griped about her cooking for about a week, then she said "Okay, you are now the cook!"     The best thing about this recipe is that there's like a boatload of shrimps on one plate of pasta rather than the measly 4 or 5 that get served in some "fancy" recipes or restaurants 👌👌
  • I made this dish Saturday night at my daughter’s request. She usually doesn’t like dishes that have cheese in it. But she LOVED this dish. It was so good. We will have this again.     I just made this and stuck to the cooking shrimp one minute on each side rule, this is super KEY and made my shrimp taste perfect. I didn’t add spice to it but it came out just as amazing. The lemon squeeze was very much necessary.

    Just finished making this. Thank you do much. I was looking for an alternative to my Shrimp Diablo pasta and this recipe did not disappoint. I added extra spinach and mushrooms. Added more red pepper flakes cayene and a little more pasta water. I needed extra pasta water because I used penne and wanted the noodles to be coated nicely. I didn't have heavy cream so I used half and half. This was delicious. Can't wait for my husband to taste it. Thanks again.

  • This recipe is Awesome! Made it tonight, substituted yellow onions with 3 med/large shallots, homemade garlic oil & rotini pasta (Pappardelle was not available). Other than that followed the rest of the ingredients & instructions. Chef kiss, this is going into my recipe book! Thank you for sharing this.

    I made this last night and my boyfriend ABSOLUTELY loved it! It is so good! I had to cut the amount of cayenne pepper in half and didn’t add the pepper flakes in only because my bf gets very bad heartburn but it was still a little spicy. I worried he was going to wake up at night but it was soooo good! Definitely making this again!

  • Beyond amazing, I add a little bit of pepper jack cheese, splash of old bay seasoning, cut up some scullion. I use penne pasta I could fine the papperdelle pasta. My good this is good. I found my self eating most of the pasta with the chicken broth

    This was delicious! I replaced the following: heavy cream with table cream, tomato purée with 3 tables spoons of tomato sauce, cayenne pepper powder, with chili powder. Despite the few replacements, also use penne pasta, this process turned out excellent. Thank you!
