Welcome to another video on the history of Jerusalem. Today I would like to present to you a topic that is rarely mentioned. That is, who lived in Jerusalem before the Israeli conquest of the Promised Land? I will not only present you with a Biblical perspective that you may know very well but also look at extra-Biblical sources that describe this area. In the last part of the video, we will compare Biblical information with secular sources and try to synchronize them. I am sure some of the information will be new to you, and I hope you will find it interesting.
Please like and share the video :)
Special thanks for the pictures to BiblePlaces.com

Thanks for sharing the secular history of land of Canaan. You gave it a very simple explanation run through of the history. I appreciated the animations that you made to go along with the audio. Thank you for your simple presentation. I am sure you spent a lot of hours on it. Best.
  • Thank you for your videos! For those of us that cannot visit The Promised Holy Land! AMEN!✝️🕊️✝️
  • You seem to breathe life and colour into biblical texts. I enjoy your videos very much, especially with the current footage, maps, and graphics. You asked if we preferred the historical, as compared to the theological component. Variety is the thing! Some of everything. I would love to go to the Holy Land. Your videos help take me there, without having to leave my armchair, Thanks
  • Thank you for compairing Biblical and secular historic material. For it strengthens my faith and ability to witness God's love to others. Be a blessing. Shalom.
  • You do a great job with these historical videos of Israel. I've learned a lot just from watching. Keep up the great work!
  • TY for all your videos. They make me go and do research about subjects on Israel and the middle east. I may never get to go to the holy land but thru you I get to walk the streets along with you.
  • Thank you for the time spent in studying and sharing your knowledge on Jerusalem's history. It is very much appreciated.
  • Good video. About 4 years ago archaeologists found a tablet in the sands of Egypt. It named the Pharaoh, and was a receipt for cotton and wheat from Egypt to "The House of David". Given the Pharaohs name the tablet was dated to around 1,200 BC and is the first reference of the Jewish King David who slayed Goliath and became King of Israel.
  • These histories are so incredibly fascinating. I'm obsessed with the most ancient histories about the land during Abraham's time. I want to know so much more.
  • May GOD bless programs and ministries that are dedicated to promoting the truth of the existence of Israel from the Biblical point of view.
  • Thank you for such an interesting history lesson on Jerusalem. It brings the Scripture in the Bible alive! It makes us feel that we are there with them. Fascinating!
