I live in Missouri. I did not know about the bear law but I'm not surprised.

Happy birthday has been in the public domain since September of 2015. Warner Chapell Music claimed the song has only been around since 1935 but after a 2013 lawsuit, it was shown that the song had existed since 1893. Since that lawsuit, nobody has made a claim on it and it is now in the public domain. Warner Chappell Music agreed to pay a $14 million settlement in February of the next year and in June of 2016, the settlement was approved ending all copyright claims. In short, Warner Chapell Music abused copyright laws to gain ownership of a song they legally couldn't own.

Pretty sure "Happy Birthday" is now public domain. I think they gave it up after a court case in 2013.

There are TENS OF THOUSANDS of laws in USA (and nearly everywhere else), making total obedience to the Law nearly impossible.

3:32 Simply being intoxicated in public is not an offense in Texas. The actor must be intoxicated to the degree which they present a danger to themselves or others.

The song Happy Birthday is no longer copyrighted and is in the public domain. So sing it loud and in public. Just not to me. I don’t like that song

A lot of this seems so needlessly specific while being so minor. Imagine if someone did enforce all of this. So many people would be actively ticked off

I'm a 1st gen Scotsman, and unfortunately Haggis became banned the year I was born. I still get a couple a year, but it's not as easy as it was for my parents who could just go to the local butcher and buy one. (sometimes having to wait 1 day if the butcher already threw away all the parts.) 😅

I'm from Missouri and it's a very weird state. And the bear thing is true.
