  • Favorite part-“too slow? Aye you bought a crawler bro”😂😂😂😂

My real '94 Bronco was a blast to offroad, only had 33's, 4" lift, 4.56 gears, and posis front and rear. I like the realism of this truck, it doesn't have to be the ultimate crawler. Planning on getting back into R/C soon.
  • I don't have any crawlers but am highly interested. You explained a lot of things better than anyone else I've watched. Thank you!👍
  • Good call on the bumper removal! I did the same thing and climbing improved so much more! I replaced my tires and replaced them with aluminum rims and tires. Does so much better. I didn't want to add too much weight to it. I was able to increase my climbing angle by almost 8° increase. I can climb better straight up, but coming down its more likely to roll when I push that higher degree. Still does the best when you just remove the top cover and can pull just over a 60° angle! Can't beat that with a stick! Have you thought about putting on a lighter shell on either of your TRX4's? Good Video Sir!
  • I bought it because I wanted the unlocking diffs wanted two speed trans. I got a basher for going fast I got the trx4 for trailing crawling and going slow . SCALE YESS Everything you said is spot on for some people and I really like our channel, Cheers

Best part of this channel - "... AND HOW TO SOLVE THEM" - great videos here!
  • Tuck you were a great help Next time tell Dad to teach you how to Crawl with his RC truck you got to be real carful not to wreck it....Just found you channel and I think it is cool to see father and son doint things together...Keep it up..
  • @Nickeeefy
My trx4 is so good right now for crawling. stripped down it completly, all the plastic stuff and mini servos for diffs is gone. I centered the rest receiver and esc(hobbywing 1080) on the ram close to the motor, took out the receiver from the plastic box and covered it with a ballon and zipes. Got a few small 800 mah batterys and put in front between Servo(srt 35kg ) and plastic front thing. Bumpers is also gone ofc. Got heavy rims 140 grams with a modified brass Pieces around THE steering knuckle + extra weights around that 150 grams each Side. Also some weights around the differential with zip tied and glue. Body is the team c samurai only 80 grams. This is a very cheep way to get a Good crawler it beats some really expensive rigs om competion.

I relate fully. Steering servo will need replaced for sure at some point from failure. I’ve gotten by on the torque they make with driving style. My defender no longer has bumpers lol they def are in the way and I’ve got plastic beadlocks with lead weights. Still stock motor and has been submerged several times and ran many hours same as my son’s tactical. We are happy with performance in torque crawling and speed in hi gear especially with 3s but I’m fine with 2s unlike a slash or Losi Baja Rey etc
  • Nice informative video, but I'm a scale guy, I put small wheels and tires and bolt on a lot of crap all over them :)
  • Thanks for the review. Still debating on the classic or the new sport model!
  • Thank you! I want to get one but now I know what exactly I need to change and buy! Very much appreciated
  • Nice video. Nice to see you suggesting the cheaper mods that the other guys don't.
  • Sub'd Str8 up when you said Hey you brought a crawler bro🏁👊🏿💥
  • @Traulus83
On the bumpers, you can flip your bumper mount to raise and gain angle aproach
  • Have you had a chance to see the JX CLS-HV7346mg servo you will definitely need a BEC?
  • I despise the beeps. I put the Bluetooth module in it. Plus , mine never hit the ground with stock electronic's. Black Label 650oz Protek 370 brushless WP servos, Mamba X esc and 1800kv Revolver went in it. Never even ran it with the stock body either....I had a Pro-line Chevy body painted-up even before I bought the TRX4. I'm obviously one of the few that does this but I've been in the hobby for 30 years....so I have plans for every rc before I buy it. Anyway....you're spot-on with your review. Great video.
  • I got my TRX to crawl real slow so I'm interested more in better throttle modulation of motor speed (I could use 1/2 the sensitivity of the stock throttle response) and a slower steering would go a long way in the realism dept too. I saw your vid on the FOC motor/controller which I will probably get, but what steering servo would you recommend for slower response ?
