  • As a villa fan i nearly cried when watkins scored. I was so emotional and so happy fo the boy. He has been written off so many times, even by villa supporters. Last night he showed his level and it couldnt have happend to a better person
  • Let’s mention Manioo, the 18 year old that plays like he’s had 100 caps for England. Calm and collected on the ball breaking up the oppositions offensive play and disturbing the ball. What a young humble talent.
  • @sammimitsu
Watkins's mum clapping him at the end when he mingled with the fans and staff was classic, and that long hug; the embrace of a proud and elated mother. Beautiful to see.
  • @munnerley
Now I understand why Utd. fans have been relentlessly banging on about Mainoo ...the kid is pure class. England's new no8 now picks himself.
  • @tdiddydawg
Before the exquisite finish from Watkins he sprinted probably 20 meters to get into the great position, which also needs to be praised. He MADE THAT GOAL HAPPEN ! Thank you Ollie!
  • @ny4471
Massively happy for Ollie. As a Villa fan we have a complex that we arent seen as a sexy club , the season he's had he's not seen as a top striker. He works hard, doesn't speak out, doesnt court the media , lets his actions do the talking. That moment for Villa fans is up there with Platt in 1990. It could not happen to a nicer more professional guy. Love him. Meeks is spot on , we have never had a tournament where so many redemption stories have happened. One more game for the biggest redemption of all.
  • @siheath3648
Koeman complaining at the end of the game about a poor decision was pure karma for his 93 challenge on Platt where he should have been sent off
  • @rufdymond
In that first half, Mainoo and Foden were absolutely brilliant….
  • @_Tricky_
Kobbie f’ing Mainoo. What a guy
  • Mainoo has been incredible. Hes been brilliant in every game he has played. Genuinely could be Englands best player at the tournament.

In 1986 I was a young boy growing up in the south of Italy, I was at my parents friends house when my parents told me to run with them to the top the roof (they have flat roofs in Italy and in a lot if mediterranean countries). At the top we waited and waited until a flash of light came past, magical. It was Halleys comet, which is visible every 80yrs or so, once in ur life on average. England players may only have this one chance in their lives too, and they too need to run to the top and seize the moment.

As a Liverpool fan I salute Mainoo. Thought this tornament was too early for him and boy was i wrong. What w ballsy little player he is.
  • @MH-vp7lf
Mainoo, he can be a mainstay for Man Utd and England for many years. What a little player
  • @MrScottyk90
Love the fact Micah has Roy Keanes book on his shelf 🤣
  • @siclay
to think that mainoo was still playing youth football 8 months ago and now he's helping england to european final is crazy..
  • @jonhill7081
I have to be honest, I owe Kobbie Mainoo an apology. For most of the last year, I've completely dismissed calls about him being "better than Scholes" or whatever, largely because I saw it as the typical Manchester United hype. Having watched him with more attention in this tournament - the last couple of games in particularly - he is absolutely excellent. His creativity last night was great, but also his willingness to track back and steal the ball back was massive. For all the talk of Nico Williams Jr, Lamine Yamal, Jamal Musiala and Arda Güler this tournament, Mainoo deserves to be a part of that conversation.
  • @iamsnakehips
I’ve waited 30 years to wipe that smile off Koemans face. Well played lads and thank you 😂🎉
  • @joshd171294
Mainoo our most important player again. So good on the ball we’ve needed this kind of player for years
  • I love Micah's energy and the way he talks about the game. Great commentator.
