Founded in the Age of Exploration by European settlers who took the land from natives, the City of San Ignacio is situated on the West Coast of the United States. Prior to American acquisition, the city did not experience much growth and development. The first main expansion period of the city began prior to WWI, as industry transformed San Ignacio into a bustling port city. This growth continued all the way until after WWII, when many prior military personnel settled and made their livings here. Over the next 60 years, San Ignacio would utilize every bit of land it had available, as expanding horizontally was not an option due to the northern mountain range. In the present-day, San Ignacio and its vicinity has earned a reputation as being one of the most expensive areas in the world to live, due to heavy development, zoning constraints, and rampant gentrification.

The slopes on this line are just crazy high

Love your city only critique I have is how close the stations are other than that this is amazing!
  • @andr_w
I get vibes for a few transit systems around the world -- Names: San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle Station / stops: Boston, San Francisco (city), Paris - Close station spacing in the city center Sounds: North American (in general) Really nice. :)

Being someone who lives in SF Bay Area, I love the SF-inspired station names and skyline! You even got the train announcement from Muni and new BART trains lol 👍🏽
  • I wish every Cities Skylines metro/train/tram ride YT video was like this
  • Beautiful city, awesome detail, love being able to see it in first person
  • Beautiful city, but don't you think that the distances between stations are too short?
  • @imbirek2137
you have a very lovely city, also great editing.

8:34 Is that girl on the platform alright? She's looking like Violet from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
  • I watched part of your tram video, and I can tell you that I got the SF literally right off the bat, just the apartments gave it away lol
  • metro / trains can handle only very gentle slopes. for me, one of the most interesting tasks is to design metro and train routes to have as minimal slopes as possible. i think my job was good only if there are no slopes (never happened) or if they are at such small angle that they are almost invisible. otherwise, it is called roller coaster :)
  • How can you do this? I play Cities Skylines too but I can't seem to do anything about it. Do I need any particular DLCs or mods to be able to do these first person rides?
  • @SJMorgan7
Wow so cool your city looks amazing, how did you ride your metro first person ?
  • @trainleader21
Dude, soo cool. Do the trains actually play sound like this when your in a camera view?
