Bravo for sticking with it and allowing yourself space to grow! It turned out beautifully! I do not give myself enough grace for my journals not being aesthetically pleasing, so I just want to toss them and start over but then give up and don’t begin again until I’ve forgotten the discomfiture of being inept 😂😂😂

I love this! You did a beautiful job. I keep a very simple reading journal, I don't really decorate it (maybe because I have other artistic outlets?), but writing out my thoughts on what I'm reading has really helped me improve my ability to articulate my thoughts and feelings and to better understand my taste too!

I love it! What a coincidence that just today I was looking at my book journals from 2021 and 2022 and thinking I should start one again. I only did it for two years but for some reason I just stopped. thank u for sharing 😀

I miss Jennifer. I was watching a few of her videos just yesterday. I wanted to do a book journal this year. I just wasn’t able to, but I might go ahead and make one for the latter half the year. ❤❤

❤📚❤️ Love the journal. I love my first reading journal as well. I have definitely learned what I like and what I want to change in my 2025 journal. I agree that you can be too "strict," which is where my failed portion occurred. I plan on a more laid-back approach next year. 😊
