37yrs Best Friends. 28yrs married. I got Life Threatening Sick. He fell into denial, had to make surgical decisions that he holds guilt over (he blames himself for me loosing my Rt Kidney). 3wks after that he served me w/ Divorce Papers. 9 months later he decided on Legal Separation. Did not show any Healing support, had Multiple Affairs at his job (got caught by our 25yr old son - who works w/ him) since "Legal Separation" he has not spoken or been in any of our 3 children's lives or 3 Grandchildrens lives. He refused counseling, refused help & refuses accountability for the devastation he has caused. I forgive him for his flaws. Harder to forgive his actions towards our children & Grandchildren. He told me he filed for divorce after about a month of no contact. He timed it perfectly so that the papers would be ready for me to review on my birthday yesterday. He also sent me a picture of his new car and invited me over because he had purchased all the ingredients to cook my favorite meal-from scratch- and insisted that I accept his invitation for dinner. I was hesitant, obviously..but went ahead and said yes. By the time I had finished getting dressed and ready for him to pick me up, I received a pic of the awesome meal he had prepared. That was the last I heard for the rest of the afternoon. He ignored every text and call and hasn’t bothered to explain. I wish I was kidding, but that was 100 percent my reality. My ex cheated 2 yrs ago and moved in with her within a month, taking our savings and left me with nothing for a damage deposit, rent, moving. After 18 yrs. We have a divorce meeting with the lawyer next week - get this - they already had a full on Wedding/Committment Ceremony in Vegas - dress and maid of honor, best man. The whole bit. All they have to do is sign the marriage licence when we’re divorced. But he’s not being forthcoming with financials etc because he’s in no rush now. Narcissistic Leo 😡

I’ve moved into my own home, I’m refurnishing my life and surroundings, he left me with nothing. I nursed him and gave to the detriment of my own well-being . The juice IS SO NOT worth the squeeze. He is blocked, he bored me silly.

Yes every human brief connection was transactional to him. No genuine longstanding friends unless they are ypunger and put him up on a pedestal as he goes through his midlife steroid crisis. He burns every bridge , just like everybody in his family does. He was raised to be selfish with his money, time, and energy. The most insecure person I have ever met. The problem is you can't fix someone like that unless they get heavy duty counseling with a real doctor. His goes back to his abusive childhood. He has no idea what being loyal means. Not just 2 faced, but 100 faced. I wasted thirteen years.

Wow 100 % resonate with this we were both Aquarius, 30 yes together, his 3rd party virgo secret , was found out, the lies BS, mind games put me through hell but I finally walked away, devorced him, long time healing the pain humiliation but Im finally healed been a long time but Ive done it and certainly living my best life, he's quite sad really if he thinks I will give everything up for that BS again , NO WAY! We were staying together and moving the relationship to the next level when he literally RAN AND SABOTAGED THE NEAR 4 year relationship abruptly I did not see this coming 😢so I stood my ground spoke my truth and put up boundaries and told him to stay away from me and my family and it has been 17 months now and he blocked me soon after 🤨
