To those worried that Death Battle might be getting canceled because of Rooster Teeth (and that is a totally valid concern). Death Battle was independent when they first started out and got along just fine, and they have lots of income from merch, sponsorships, and members… I think they’ll be okay, but expect them to either ask for more money or raise prices… Or both.

Even though my boy Link lost this is still one of my favourite battles. Such an awesome and cinematic feel to it. And they do let link and cloud use all their abilities. Such great stuff

Might wanna change the parentheses to (Final Fantasy 7 Remake vs Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild) since this battle didn’t take Rebirth or TOTK’s versions of their respective characters into account. The battle was in 2021 after all.

Needless to say, this rematch is miles ahead of the original fight. This and the Mario VS Sonic rematch really shows how far DB has come. Can’t wait to see which fight they give a rematch next!
