  • New tip, dont use the sleep thing during quantum drive. you will get out of bed and suddenly be in space without your ship.
  • Good tips. I've played 3 years and learned some things by watching.
  • I've been playing for months and didn't know about the shapes when quantum jumping
  • Will jump drives be absolutely necessary to travel between systems? Or if you're crazy and have a ship with a huge tank could you take a 2 hour journey in QT?
  • I have not had any trouble jumping directly to a moon as long as I'm within the orbit of the outermost moon. But at Hurston, if I fly to one OM. I'm too far from the planet, so no OMs show up. Then I have to QT towards Hurston to get "within range" just a couple hundred KM. Then all the OMs are under the Horizon. Pain in the butt
  • I couldn't turn when I got into space. Just went forward and died of thirst. Fun stuff.
  • The one thing that I don't like about the QT is when you jump to a planet then want to jump to a specific part of the planet... When you QT to that spot THE SHIP FLIPS YOU OVER!!! WTF?! I'm like "I'm already parallel to the planet's surface, just jump me there!" Or to better describe it..... This is my ship coming out of QT TO the planet 7. this is what the system does to me when I want to go to a specific spot ON the planet L. It just inverts you ship! I wish that it wouldn't do that. Other than that..... I LOVE THIS FUCKING GAME!!
  • wtf man, why cant i use quantum drive to get to the package location. supposed to steal a package from a guy and kill him or his goons if hes there. the closest jump is 1000km away, am i doing something wrong or am i waiting like 15mins to travel that distance?
  • @Horkruxx
I think there was a navigator thing, he calculates the jump to a location and you don’t have to jump planet, moon, base. Right?
  • @S1ghtsss
As watching this I accidentally turned the power off my ship and blew up lol
  • Great video but like I need an actual tutorial on what buttons to press. I set up the route but then nothing is popping up
  • So when I’m in quantum travel, how do I get out of my seat and walk around my ship?
  • how did you get those symbles to show up. my heads up display only shows basic info.
  • @Tismitch
I understand the game is still in alpha/early access but it has been 2 years since this tutorial and the game has 0 direction on any of this. just spent 45 minutes exploring the base I spawned in to figure out how to accept missions and get to my ship etc, eventually muddled it out but it was more frustrating than enjoyable. Then another 20 minutes first trying to figure out how to get out of the hanger (why the fuck is the request to open doors in the friends tab?? would have never tried that if someone didn't tell me) and a further 25 minutes trying to QT where everything was right, 100% calibrated and holding B like the prompt said and literally nothing happening. Glad i tried this on a free weekend but holy shit I feel like i wasted so much time both trying to learn the basic and now having to spend however long it takes to forget that immense frustration ever happened.
