Ninja Baseball Batman was released by Irem Corporation as an arcade unit game in 1993. The game is a "beat em up" in which up to 4 players can play simultaneously. The game is very rare because it was never released on a platform and only 43 units were shipped to North America as the game did not sell well.

The game includes a variety of insane baseball --themed enemies (as well as any inanimate object that the developers could think of which the player(s) must smash their way through in an unfathomable display of baseball carnage.

The Nerd was so awestruck by the game that he did not have the capacity to make a full length episode, but he HAD to get the word out about what he had just witnessed. Here is the Nerd's public announcement about an extremely rare, mind-blowing, and most importantly AWESOME and FUN game that the world must know about!

You know what's messed up, I've been watching James for 10 years and I've never seen this video. It's like I just found a hidden treasure.
  • The angry nerd wasn't angry because it's a bad game, He was angry because it's a good game that barely anyone knows~

I find it fascinating how this episode dedicated to an obscure gem ended up to becoming an obscure gem in of itself.

43 units? There was only 43 units in the whole continent and the nearest drugstore to my house, located in a small town in Mexico had one of them? Had to be destiny.

This is not a hidden gem, this is hidden diamond.

This game STILL needs to be ported to consoles. It's honestly so much fun.
  • I vividly remember taking $20 to the arcade and beating Ninja Baseball Batman using every last token I had. The feeling of triumph lasted well over a month afterward.
  • "Let's see the game." *pure chaotic awesomeness* *back to AVGN's face* Best moment ever.
  • What do we want?! NINJA BASEBALL BATMAN! Where do we want it?! ON HOME CONSOLES!
  • @smitty1231
This was one of the first games I played when my friend and I finished building my MAME cabinet. It's absolutely amazing.

Well over a decade later, and we’re still waiting for this game to be ported on a home console. This is just incredibly sad…
